I think what he is not saying is that players talk. Everybody has an opinion about their boss and players have opinions about their coaches. I think in the three years he was around he probably heard plenty that he does not say here.

The hilarious/ sad (for the fans) is that Romo is probably the only reason Garrett still has his job. Good enough to keep you interested and tune in but not good enough to get you over the hump. Unfortunately good enough to keep Garrett employed.

I see this as at least 50/50. Switzer is the same player plus special teamer. They have shown a lot of interest in Marcel Ateman out of Ok St lately. I could see him in round 3 or 4.

Saw a chart earlier today that I cant find right now. Cowboys strength of schedule for 2018 is ranked 15. Teams they play this year had exactly a 500 record last year.

Probably has more to do with atrocious QB and OL play, along with most rosters being so thin that one key injury and your team is out of it before mid October. Then there is the whole "only a handful of teams really have a shot to begin with".

Yep auditioning this close to the season shows he is obviously not all in, and he doesnt strike me as the type to try get of camp, practice, etc or use leverage for more money. Could be in his mind he knows that there is no way this team is going to make much noise this year, and now is as good...

Broaddus says he is hearing rumors from scouts about Derwin James falling to 19. I am not going to piss and moan if he is the pick, and that certainly ends the Earl Thomas talk, however, I would still rather go either of the trenches.

All depends on how well he tackles. Dont get me I value coverage more than anything out of LBs and DBs but seeing the Byron Jones play FS and tackle like Prime Time lead to problems vs the run and tackling downfield.

Everything I read says the sweet spot in the draft is 22-52, making a trade up idiotic, so of course that is exactly what will happen. The correct move is trade back to 23 with NE and pick up and extra 2nd.
