True, but the way I look at it, he's really about 18th out of the 20 (or so) head coaches who can be meaningfully ranked. So, basically, he's at the bottom.

The vast majority of the guys ranked 19-32 are very inexperienced and haven't done anything yet. That's the reason they aren't ranked any higher. It isn't that the raters have a high opinion of Garrett .... it is more that the raters don't have opinions on the very inexperienced head coaches.

IMO, Garrett's game day strategy errors are the most important indicators of Garrett's limitations. It isn't clear how much of the blame for poor/inadequate personnel decisions is on Garrett and how much is on Jerry. We don't really know how much blame Garrett should get for the crappy OL and...
