That was one of the only winnable games left until week 11. Looks like we'll realistically be 3-6 by the time Romo gets back. That means they'd essentially have to finish the season undefeated. Not happening.
Oh not tonight. I'd go with Cassel moving forward though. Credit to Weeden for not doing anything stupid (yet) but this team won't even go .500 with him.
Saints just aren't good at all. They suck. If we can't win this game then it's hopeless from here on out.
Also, I've seen enough of Weeden. He's fine but the offense seems so limited with him. If the coaches can't trust him then he needs to go.
Garrett for Belichick?
You need more right kind of guys. Aaron Hernandez would never have existed with Garrett there.
Primarily because Garrett doesn't know how to use more than 1 tight end.
Which speaks to just how good Romo truly has become. He has had more adversity than any top QB in the league. Who else can you name without a head coach for guidance?
I don't think Weeden did anything to prove he's competent or even average for a backup during that first half. It was pure domination by our o line and great running. Our D also played well for like 2 milliseconds. Our coach is obviously a moron for going away from the run with an 11 point lead...
They are dumbing it down solely due to Weeden's lack of ability. Cassel can at least make some plays happen. Before yesterday, I would have been fine having Weeden with a lead, but it's clear now that he can't even be trusted when we're ahead in games. He's totally fucked if we fall behind...
