What Parcells added was the churn the bottom of the roster concept. We became a deeper team talent-wise. Suddenly we started arguing over the best 3rd string safety rather than starting guards.

You're right. But the fact of the matter is, this defense can't get a stop when they have to. Washington scored at the end of both halves. We've lost 2 games in OT without even touching the ball. The offense is horrible and carries most of the blame. But with this defense does it really matter...
