    How I Became a Fan

Detroit in 2011 (?). And repeated piss poor clock management to end the half of numerous games only to give the ball back to the opposing team instead of going into half-time with some momentum. He's a coaching dolt.....

    How I Became a Fan

The coaches you mentioned rebuilt their teams. Chuck Knoll drafted Bradshaw and went through the growing pains. Same with most of those coaches you mentioned. Building a team in today's NFL (and even back then) meant finding a QB. This is a luxury Garrett had. He had a QB in his prime...

    How I Became a Fan

Then I appreciate your story and apologize for your mother's loss, especially at such a young age. None of the "stats" associated with a successful HC play in Garrett's favor after 4 years. You overlook the run/pass ratio, the .500 seasons, the blown games, the blown win or go home games, and...

    How I Became a Fan

You tell us all that just to pimp Garrett at the end? If it's a true story (and I have my doubts), then thanks for sharing it and I'm sorry to hear about your Mom passing when you were so young. Having said that, fuck you and your Garrett man love.

    *** 2015 Cowboys Training Camp Thread ***

I just spit up my coffee seeing the red headed dolt coming off the plane with that smug smile. I'm surprised he's not waiting at the bottom of the steps, clapping and butt slapping the players after the come off the plane.

    What IS that something?

He became a personnel guru when he demoted TC and promoted McClay. 2012 was a draft disaster starting with trading up for Claiborne. So trading Day 1 picks is not "sacrificing the future for the present?" When it comes to Garrett, you throw out all your rational, stat based conclusions...

    What IS that something?

You almost sound like you and Garrett discussed this, because your whole post is kind of like "hey, this is what Jason thinks and believes." I look at the facts. You do to, except when it comes to Garrett. Then you throw out the numbers and base your opinion on certain variables that are not...

    What IS that something?

You've made some good, compelling arguments around here. I figured you were a bright guy but this one knocked you down a few pegs.

Anyone else see a possible 2-3 or even a 1-4 start to the 2015 season?

I think we can all admit that Murray left yards on the field. When he got in open space he'd sometimes run out of gas or run out of bounds. More than once he left me hoping he had more speed. BUT, having the benefit of knowing how his contributions helped the team last year, I'd gladly take...

Anyone else see a possible 2-3 or even a 1-4 start to the 2015 season?

I'm too lazy to look it up but playoff teams and division winners change fairly often from year to year. Nothing would surprise me this year. But we certainly need a good start to increase our chances for the playoffs. If we did ourselves a hole early, it'll be tough to be there in...

Gosselin: The Super Bowl clock is ticking for Jerry Jones and Tony Romo

And Pro-Bowlers and future HOF'ers at some of the skill positions (the toughest positions to find/fill). All the dolt had to do was add pieces to an existing fouondation. At the end of the day, he put it all on #9's back.

The History of Rule Changes That Affected Passer Ratings

This. High school football is a completely different game, at least in my area, then it was 20 or 30 years ago. I see most teams have a no-huddle, spread offense and pass the ball all over the field. It's amazing to me sometimes.

Should Obama be considered the most successful President of all time?

Some of it is our faults as parents. Our kids no longer work (in general) and we baby them. Our relationship with our kids has evolved to where we've become "friends". I talk with my kids all the time about what's going on in the world. They're the ones that will have to pay for this mess...

Should Obama be considered the most successful President of all time?

Kids don't know any better. They only know what they learned in school and teachers are far more liberal than when we were young. Unfortunately, the same applies to our colleges. These places are like communist re-education camps for young people. It's going to be a huge wake up call when...

Why can't we kill the insane?

Are you referring to me? You must have me confused with someone else. I wish I was a better Christian but thi sis who I am. I hate some fucking people (mentioned above). I have no problem relieving them of their unholy urges.
