    With the way the run game was getting stifled I was hoping for 1 or 2 more passes...I was just baffled they let the clock run. I normally don't scream at the TV, but I was. Reminds me of Norv settling for a 49 yarder as well...eerily similiar.

    You could transition to a 4-3 pretty easily. Ratliff, Hatcher, Brent, Spears inside...Hatcher would probably play strongside DE though, opposite Ware. Lee in the middle, Carter weakside, FA addition...there is your front 7.

    Sure...if you can save over a million dollars you do it. Orton was claimed by KC to be a starter, Chicago to be a starter, and by us to block him from Chicago. No one had ideas of bringing in McNabb as a starter. Huge difference.

    I doubt a team wanted to pick up the rest of his salary...now just the prorated vet min for whoever signs him. I do think he will sign with someone.

    If Kitna cannot go you need a 3rd QB...I am not looking at McNabb as some kind of savior, but I would not pitch a fit if we signed him. He was my most hated player...ever...but if he can help then sign him.

    I like what Marvin Lewis has done in Cincy. Doing what he is doing relying on a rookie QB has been very impressive. Harbaugh is still the guy, but depending on how both teams close out I could see Lewis making a push.

    It was a slow build to the final 10 minutes, but now it is all worth it. Now in the comics Shane dies pretty early...not sure how they can do that now. Kind of how Lost was supposed to kill off Jack in the pilot episode, but he ended up being the main character.
