    Tom Petty has passed away

This sucks. Way too young and I thought the guy was a great musician and song writer.

    Day After Thoughts- DONE

It seems like training camp is just a formality for this team and it seems that the the primary goal is not necessarily to evaluate players, but to stay healthy. You can't really play your way off the team and I completely agree on Switzer. I keep asking myself what they see in this guy. We...

Should we draft a franchise QB in 2018 if we get the chance?

I was looking at some of his highlights a few days ago and he's a big kid for sure. Supposed to be very accurate but the guy scans the field pretty well. He seemed to have a good, not great arm. There are a lot of quality QB's coming out this draft and from what's out there, it looks like...

DMN: Five thoughts from Cowboys' 35-30 loss to Rams

I think we're saying the same thing. I don't think our D is good enough to guarantee a win with just 30 points.

Should we draft a franchise QB in 2018 if we get the chance?

Holy smokes TE!!! This kid came up in conversation with a few buddies the other day and how good he'd look in a Cowboy uniform. This year is going to be a deep class for QB's and we may be able to grab him towards the middle of the 1st even though I doubt Jerry would pull the trigger. Also...

Sturm: The Morning After examines where things went wrong for Cowboys vs. Rams

If Prescott is the franchise QB we all hope he is, he needs to play better and carry the team when things aren't going well. Right now, teams will play to stop the run. That's the formula until Prescott makes them pay. Oh, and throwing a 5 yard pass on 4th and 10 at the end of the game is a...

Should we draft a franchise QB in 2018 if we get the chance?

Absolutely. And it's the hardest position to find and develop. This team has gotten lucky thanks to Romo and they think they can take short cuts on the position.

Should we draft a franchise QB in 2018 if we get the chance?

I'm afraid you're right. And I'm not confident that these coaches can properly evaluate the position. And why the hell does it look like Dak's regressed from last year?

Should we draft a franchise QB in 2018 if we get the chance?

Jimmy drafted Walsh when he had Aikman (and Dak's no Aikman). You take a franchise QB if he's available. It's the most important position on the field.

DMN: Five thoughts from Cowboys' 35-30 loss to Rams

I've seen plenty of games in today's NFL where a team scores 30 and loses. The game is geared towards offense. And with our D, 30 points is no guarantee. The Rams have the #1 scoring offense in the NFL and averages 35 points. You'll have to score plenty to beat them. And I don't think 30...

NFL Protests: The Future of the NFL is at Stake

The fan's aren't protesting or booing over the Zeke case. Nor will the Zeke case potentially cause fans to tune off the NFL. The owners taking a knee basically told me that they agree with the issues the player's are protesting. Their response should have been to tell the players and staff...

Haven't recovered from decision to tank Philly game last year

That's very, very telling. The season is still young but I just don't think we look very good as a team on either side of the ball. I mean, we go 13 and 3 last season with a young group and it looks like we took a step backwards.

DMN: Five thoughts from Cowboys' 35-30 loss to Rams

Not in today's NFL. 30 points guarantees nothing but a close game.

    2017 Week Four NFL Thread

And this offense just seems sooooooo unimaginative. It's almost like we run the same plays over and over again. The D raely has to guess if it's a run or pass. About the only thing they may need to guess is if Dak fakes the hand off to Zeke and keeps it himself.

    2017 Week Four NFL Thread

I don't know if Witten's a problem. Same with Dez. I can tell that Dak's a problem. His best plays were the ones that seemed to break down and he rolled out of the pocket. He rarely looks downfield and just seems uncomfortable in the pocket. This team will only go as far as Dak can take...

    Who you got? Week 4

Damn it. I'm concerned that you picked the Rams. I picked them earlier but seeing how you also picked them, I'm changing my pick to Dallas...... EDIT: I still think the Rams will win but the way you've been picking them lately, I see a trend. I'm picking opposite until you prove otherwise...
