PFW- Jones wants Goodell out, Polian in

But that's my point David. They don't and won't care. This isn't about Elliott as much as it is about the Cowboys. He's handed out suspensions as punishments for some time now. Even did Brady as well but I didn't hear some outcry from fans, the NFL or even you. I guess what I'm saying is...

PFW- Jones wants Goodell out, Polian in

The only folks that care about Goodell's actions is the NFLPA, as they should. Jerry's on it because it affects the playoff hopes of his team. He should have taken a stand when they were fined for circumventing the cap in an uncapped year. The fact that Zeke is getting the shaft without any...

PFW- Jones wants Goodell out, Polian in

Having Zeke out of the picture makes the other team's chances of going to playoffs and winning a whole lot better. It's about the money. The owners don't really care about Elliott.

PFW- Jones wants Goodell out, Polian in

Other owners really don't care about the Zeke situation. They do care about the anthem issue because it brings bad publicity to the NFL. The way that Goodell and the NFL have handled this issue has been nothing short of atrocious. And players should have to stand for the anthem. Regardless...

    Who you got? Week 10

Cowboys have issues at RB and injured WR's. Can the D play well two weeks in a row? I don't think so...plus, you're 6 and 2 and the only chance folks have to catch up is to bet against you. This might be the perfect chance. Atlanta.

Cowboys opponents have now gone 5 straight games with no offensive holding calls

I don't know if anyone is out to get us but it's gotten to the point where I feel there is some clear bias going on. We've been on the receiving end of some questionable holding calls and you think that it wouldn't have to be "blatant" for them to be called in our favor. I wouldn't argue the...

Cowboys opponents have now gone 5 straight games with no offensive holding calls

Oh, then when they did hold it must have been that dreaded "hidden holding." 20 quarters my man. If I was the head coach, I'd be all over the refs and take my well earned fine like a man. If it walks like a duck.....

That record is meaningless. That dolt could have done a whole lot more with a franchise QB(s).

Cowboys opponents have now gone 5 straight games with no offensive holding calls

Yeah, that was my point. I've seen some garbage penalties called against Dallas but somehow Dooms wants us to believe that the opposition doesn't hold on ANY play, or at least holding as he now defines it. 5 games/20 quarters and counting. That's unheard of.

Cowboys opponents have now gone 5 straight games with no offensive holding calls

I'm not asking for your opinion on what constitutes a hold. I've seen some ticky tacky calls on Fred who mauled his guy to the ground. They called it a hold. I see it. And your explanation still doesn't explain the fact that it's really odd, unheard of, really, that an NFL team has 5...

Cowboys opponents have now gone 5 straight games with no offensive holding calls

I watch O-line play very closely. I see the hooks and the holds. It's an arbitrary call that's left to the refs. You assume that they don't see it and I can agree to a certain point. It's human nature and everyone makes mistakes. But 20 quarters of football against a pretty decent D-line...

    After yesterday's performance...

Pay dbair no mind. If he gets a hang nail he stays home from work. No one retires after one concussion.

It's possible that they're trying to hide and stash him away until next year.

The names on that list are pretty exclusive with the exception of Cullpepper, who had Randy Moss to throw to. We were lucky to have Romo, who, unfortunately, was unlucky to have Wade and Red Dolt after Parcells.

Cowboys opponents have now gone 5 straight games with no offensive holding calls

I laughed so hard at your post last night I couldn't answer. I went to bed thinking I read it wrong and it would either disappear in the morning or I misunderstood it. I mean, what does that even mean? How do you "hide" a lineman holding? I'm not sure it's a conspiracy but, at some point...

Romo's on that list? It can't be. I bet it pained you to quote it.

    After yesterday's performance...

He had some tough yards and teams are keying on him. It also seemed to me that the Chiefs were selling out to stop the run on some plays and brought heavy pressure daring Dak to beat them. I'd also bet that if our offensive scheme wasn't so predictable you'd see less teams taking those...

Cowboys opponents have now gone 5 straight games with no offensive holding calls

So it's been 20 quarters, 5 full football games since we've seen a ref call a holding penalty against the other team and Dooms doesn't think that sounds kind of strange? Especially considering the DL is having a good year sack wise (top 5)? I don't think I've ever seen that in my entire life...

    After yesterday's performance...

Zeke had a good game but Dak was clutch in the second half when the team needed him to be clutch. If Dak can continue to beat teams with his arm and legs, we have a shot. This team will only go as far as it's QB can carry it. Same with Philly and Wentz.

He's not as accurate as I would like. But if he uses his legs like he did today to make some big plays, he can keep D's off balance and honest. I hope this staff doesn't try to make him a "pocket" QB. The threat of Dak scrambling adds a whole nother dimension to the offense.
