Stephen Jones says Safety is biggest need on defense

You know I like that scenario, but it would be a tough decision. Cooper's pretty damn good too. He can play center and guard. And just the thought of passing on Sheldon Richardson or Ankeil Ansah would bother me just a little. Getting Williams though would make it a good first two rounds.

He used to until defenses figured him out. They knew when he was gonna scramble. But, yeah, I agree with you he should scramble more. A lot of the times it isn't designed. He has no choice because our OL is terrible.

True, but can't you agree that Cam had an subpar year after his rookie season? The DC's had a full year's worth of tape to figure him out. He was at least contained this year.

Hypothetical- Would you trade Romo for top-10 pick?

I understand some of your pain about Romo but look who's blocking for him. I'd run for my life too.

I'm old school, I prefer the pocket passer's of the league. No knock on Cam, Kaepernick, RG3, or Wilson but sooner or later these defenses will figure them out. It's good to have a mobile QB but not running like these guys do. One of these days a linebacker is going to come up and deliver a...

Stephen Jones says Safety is biggest need on defense

There's always that one prospect who falls. The question is who? I thought last year we may have jumped on a few prospects who fell and we looked in another direction.

And I think we could land a starter in the third. Phillip Thomas comes to mind. Cyprien if we're lucky.

Hypothetical- Would you trade Romo for top-10 pick?

Yeah, but we would need a QB. It would be nice to have a top five pick but you can't win in this league without a decent QB.

Stephen Jones says Safety is biggest need on defense

I dunno, if Richardson or Ansah fell to us it would be hard to pass on either one of them. Although I do like Warmack and Cooper.

If Richardson, Ansah, Warmack, Cooper and Vaccaro are available who do you take?

Hypothetical- Would you trade Romo for top-10 pick?

No, I wouldn't because Tony is better than anyone of those QB's who are projected to go in the first round. I would assume we would need QB if we were to trade Romo.

Stephen Jones says Safety is biggest need on defense

I forgot where I read this but it was said that our DL was okay. I don't agree with it but hey. We need to go into this draft thinking OL, DL, S. I think it was Stephen Jones who said the DL was okay. Not 100% sure though. So, don't hold me to it.

Stephen Jones says Safety is biggest need on defense

I think this was posted already by TE in another thread, but yeah, no doubt we need safety help. Give me the best available prospect at 18 as long as it is OL, DL, or S.

Stephen Jones says team will look to add running back

If we tag Spencer or find a way to re-sign him, It's possible we go S or OL at 18. It all depends on who's available when we pick. This will be interesting.

Stephen Jones says team will look to add running back

There's no doubt we need safety help. Knowing our draft history I wouldn't be surprised if we did draft a safety at 18.

I'll be honest, I don't know what to expect out of Matt Johnson. It's hit or miss.
