NFL suspends Adrian Peterson without pay for at least rest of regular season

No kidding. He's "shown no meaningful remorse"? So if he came in looking all sad and apologized better, King Goodell would grant him a reprieve? The PA really blew it granting Goodell almost unlimited powers re: player conduct. And I can't see how this is even good for the league itself...

Hill: Rested Cowboys eager to finish strong

Right, Clarence. We already know that this team is vastly superior to any that came before it. The media sure hates us, right guis? Remember how a lot of us were talking about hating the team's success because it benefits Jerry? I'm starting to feel that way just as much about Steve.

NFL Week #11: Early and Late Games Thread

I wonder if there's really anything to it, or if it's just that you play them far more than other teams so there are more opportunities for upsets. Seems to me we've beaten down the Redskins plenty of times the last several years when they weren't any good, but those are quickly forgotten.

    That you like Ingram? Agreed.

    Pro Bowl voting already starting

We're gonna have a ton of them, just like 2007. At least Garrett won't have the excuse that he doesn't have any talent to work with.

Am I the only one not that impressed with Ingram?

    NFC Playoff Tracker...

No, I'm the same. They usually play us tough, and they're at home. Eli may be a joke sometimes, but he can get hot at times also. And they came within a few yards of winning against a very good team -- it's not like they got blown out. Plus it seems like everything went our way yesterday and...

    NFC Playoff Tracker...

I wish we had a coach half as good as what the Cardinals have. Did any Cowboys fan ever think they'd ever say that?

    Todd Gurley- torn ACL

OT, but speaking of Murray replacements I liked that David Cobb from Minnesota on Saturday. Not that he's Gurley, and I don't even know much about him -- he didn't look too fast -- but he looks pretty good and seems big enough to be durable.

DEA launches surprise investigation into NFL prescription drug use

Who else when they saw that report on the SNF pregame were just waiting to hear that we were one of the teams?

I thought they said we couldn't wear our throwbacks because we couldn't wear a new helmet, but the Packers have those gawdawful Acme Packers unis with the solid yellow hats.

Packers 17-0. Not that surprised. Division is so gift wrapped for us this year. Garrett is the luckiest mofo I've ever seen.

NFL Week #11: Early and Late Games Thread

I'm with Pep. I think Shanahan basically ruined Griffin by playing him injured. Until he blew out his knee he was looking like a player. He's never recovered from it. I still don't look forward to facing them last game of the year. I also don't put him in the same category as Newton. Cam just...

NFL Week #11: Early and Late Games Thread

Eagles/Packers look like two of the better teams in the conference to me. Gonna be in the 20s there... Then again it's in the 20s in north Texas. Something wrong with that. I know dbair is hunkered down rooting for my Lambs. Right, dbair?

Zach Martin is having a great season

Brian Kelly said after the draft that he'd get us to the Superbowl -- he was that good and that great a leader.

Sports Illustrated: One play changed course of Cowboys, brought 'poetry' to Dallas

Dead on, Omega. I've asked before... But so when you think your OL isn't very good, you can't possibly even *try* to run the ball, but you can put your $100 million QB at risk 50 times a game? How much sense does that make? And I've always thought the WCO would be great for Tony. In fact...

Sports Illustrated: One play changed course of Cowboys, brought 'poetry' to Dallas

Exactly what I was going to say, bb. Romo got planted on that play because our undrafted rookie fullback/h-back blew an assignment, not because some bad O-lineman got beat. Also, funny how this article didn't mention the Arkin-Livings-Bernadeau-Costa crew that was supposed to be so much better...
