    Poster Without a Forum

Welcome CC. Like icup said, we have very little moderation and we can discuss just about any topic outside of football (ie: politics). It's a senior forum where a lot of us have been around. We won't be fooled by the bullshit of younger fans who have been re-educated by Jerry to believe that...

Not at all Red. All opinions are welcome but the homers can't handle the push back and they end up leaving.

    This Place Needs More Activity...

It's the off-season and not a whole lot to discuss. Truth be told, if you go over to CZ you get the dumbest and gayest threads ever conceived....like "how much money for Jeff Swaim next year?" I mean, really? Or "why we don't run a lead draw." Or "all roads lead to Gallup" where we get the...

    Your takes on Dak..

I know he can throw the long ball. But he doesn't pull the trigger for whatever reason. Personally, I don't think he sees the whole field. But I'll ask again......did you just say they should have stretched the field with Switzer?

    Your takes on Dak..

Did you just wonder why we didn't stretch the field with Switzer? You drinking early Dooms?

    Your takes on Dak..

A 70% completion rate for less than 600 yards mans very little. In other words, no receiver, other than Bryant, broke 600 yards for the season so why am I supposed to feel good about a 60% completion percentage? Dak dink and dunked his way to his completion percentage.

    I don't understand how you can get a concussion during OTA's? Aren't they non-contact?

It’s time to move on from Dez

No question about it....we have a coaching problem. We've had a coaching problem for years. But a coaching problem and a QB problem are not mutually exclusive. You'd better believe the Red Dolt will run 30 plus times a game. He won't put his future with the team in Dak's hands.

It’s time to move on from Dez

Don't you find it odd the Dez had the drops last year? For the most part, he was pretty sure handed throughout his career. I can see someone losing a step or someone not working or studying hard enough....but I don't think a guy just forgets how to catch a ball. As I said, we'll just agree to...

It’s time to move on from Dez

Dak is young and he's done a good job for a 4th round pick taking over for a franchise QB. I'll give him that. But that doesn't make Dak the next franchise QB. It makes him a good leader (from what we're told) and a bus driver type QB. That's not someone I want to throw a 100 million dollar...

It’s time to move on from Dez

They took away Beasley which made it harder for Dak to dink and dunk his way down the field. The reality is that when we had scrubs like Roy Williams, both Witten and Austin had 1000 yard seasons. They can't cover everyone. Unless, of course, it's the 2017 Cowboys where everyone is covered...

It’s time to move on from Dez

Not sure I buy this. Dak spread the ball around pretty good in 2016 and folks raved about his "leadership" abilities that kept Dez in check. All of a sudden, Dez was a problem in 2017 when teams keyed on Dak. Coincidence?

It’s time to move on from Dez

If by adjusting you mean forcing him (Dak) to beat you, then I'd agree. Teams will do it again this year. Pray the defense improves and carry's the team.

It’s time to move on from Dez

I could buy some of this if another WR had a break out year but no one did. Beasley one in 2016 but he must suck as well because, according to his stats, he regressed. The excuses for Prescott keep coming.

Zeke Says He Wants to Be A Leader For The Cowboys

Not sure I believe that. He came in way out of shape last year.

    Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to everyone and especially those that have served. As I get older and see my kids grow, I appreciate days like today even more; my heart goes out to parents that have lost children in the military that are the same age as my kids. Football becomes meaningless on days like...

    2018 Injury thread

I never had any doubt, quite honestly. I would have to think there has to be some type of rule to avoid that type of behavior otherwise everyone would stash players on IR all season to avoid losing them.

    Cowboys OTA's/MiniCamp/Pre TC thread

Props for the Tweets DB. I don't know if White will be any good but I like that they took a flyer on a QB with some tools. We haven't seen that in some time up until Dak was drafted. It'll be an interesting year for sure.

T.O. on Dallas coach Jason Garrett: 'I just don't understand why this guy still has a job"

I think you're giving Garrett too much credit. He's not an "intellectual" and I'd bet his Dad being at Princeton has as much to do with him going there than him being some super-smart guy. he's more of a con man than he is an intellectual. A guy that's been riding his Daddy's coat-tails...
