C Hill- league admits 7 blown calls in Lions favor

Yeah, the explanation was that there was "no contact." Which obviously wasn't the case. What I thought was weird about that was Jeff Tripplett was the official on the sideline explaining it to Stafford. What was he even doing there? I guess they put officials that didn't make the playoff...

C Hill- league admits 7 blown calls in Lions favor

What do you say, guis, do we win the game by 27 or 31 if the refs don't hate us and screw us all game long?

C Hill- league admits 7 blown calls in Lions favor

I've only said about 15 times I don't think it made a difference in the final outcome. I'm talking about this call only. And I don't know if it was marked off or not with all the confusion during the game. Maybe it wasn't. Several people have said it was, though.

C Hill- league admits 7 blown calls in Lions favor

Yep, that's why this call is getting such run. If a flag had never been thrown, Lions fans wouldn't have liked it, but it would've been just another possibly missed call. But for the refs to actually mark off the yardage, then change their minds and say no penalty with no explanation? That's...

    Probowl question

LOL And yes, you still made it even if you opt out. Surely this joke of a game is on its last legs anyway and such things won't be a factor.

I have a feeling the NFL has it exactly the way it wants it.

NFL: Holding missed on key fourth down conversion

Dude. We've gotten great calls all year long. We should be the last ones to complain about officiating this year. Do you really think the league hates its most popular team?

NFL: Holding missed on key fourth down conversion

Does seem weird for the NFL to even comment on such a thing when holding is rampant on practically every pass play run today. Just some PR to try to knock down some of the conspiracy theories out there, I'd bet.

    Feels weird

Yeah, I'm sure if I buy it 100% because most of those weird-looking short passes were early in the game, and he got better as the game went on. I actually wondered if he wasn't hurt a little bit early in the game and he improved as it wore off.

Wild Card Weekend 2015: Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys

I don't buy the facemask call because if you slow everything down enough, you can see facemask/hands to the face on literally every single play on the line or in the backfield. He didn't hold the mask or turn his head at all. What I did see was Hitchens making contact and restricting...

    Feels weird

^^ Yep. I've been very bullish on this team since the second Philly game. Wasn't sure about Washington because I didn't know if we'd rest people or not, but other than then I've been extremely confident about our winning the last several weeks including yesterday. But next week, not at all...

Wild Card Weekend 2015: Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys

Yep. He had no idea where the ball was and he ran though the receiver. If he hadn't made contact he'd have been okay... We see that play happen fairly often. But he did. Again, that didn't cost the Lions the game -- I think we win regardless. But that was a horrible call.
