    NFL Important NFL Dates 2014

So the combine will not be solely in Indianapolis this year, but have multiple combines?

Rod Marinelli new DC. Kiffin "Assistant HC"

    Working the zebras (refs) coordinator.

Rod Marinelli new DC. Kiffin "Assistant HC"

I believe we will also need a Kickoff coordinator, and a Kick return coordinator. Then we will need a Punting coordinator, and a Punt return coordinator, as well as an assistant special teams coach. I hear tell that the waterboy will be getting an assistant. This assistant will be the Gatorade...

Jerry Jones glad he spent No. 1 picks on linemen in 2013, 2011, but...

What did Brees do without Sean Payton that one year? And he wasn't exactly tearing it up in SD even when he had Tomlinson, Gates, and Jackson.

George: Dallas Cowboys open to bringing back DE Anthony Spencer

I totally agree. But if you are going to bring back either player, it just makes more sense to bring back Hatcher over Spencer.

    Young Guns: Gavin Escobar

Yes... who "stood on the table" for this guy? Like they stood on the table for Larry Allen.

George: Dallas Cowboys open to bringing back DE Anthony Spencer

I'd rather have Hatcher back--- AT A DECENT PRICE, than Spencer.

Bryan Broaddus: Scout's Notebook: Random Thoughts From Tues. Practice

This guy is in almost every play. I'm liking this guy more and more. And while you are concerned about his size Bob, he looks and plays bigger than his 6'1 and 288 lbs. The guy has basically mastered the swim move, and he hasn't even entered the league yet...

Bryan Broaddus: Scout's Notebook: Random Thoughts From Tues. Practice

He can gain additional size and he already plays extremely well for his size. Personally, he looks compact and that in itself is an advantage, because he's able to get better leverage. I'm not thrilled about Kiffin staying on as DC, but if you can get a Warren Sapp-type player for your DL, you...

Eatman: NFC Title Game Should Help Steer Dallas' Draft

I'd rather have Romo and the Seahawks' team over Russell and the Cowboys' --- and not just becausde of the defense, but simply better overall coaching and front office. Russell would not and could not thrive in Garrett's pass happy offense and Kiffin's defense.

Bryan Broaddus: Scout's Notebook: Random Thoughts From Tues. Practice

Warren Sapp was about that size when he enterd into the league. In fact, Donald reminds me very much like Sapp. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C25r8eN44yA

Bryan Broaddus: Scout's Notebook: Random Thoughts From Tues. Practice

That would be idea. My first four rounds would consist of DT, DE, OG, and Safety. Not in any particular order except either DT or DE in the 1st.

Jones says Ciskowski remains in charge of Cowboys' draft board

The past 10 years, we've used THREE 1st round draft picks on CBs. AND WE HAVE SHIT TO SHOW FOR IT. THEY WERE ALWAYS HURT! Newman --- hamstring. Jenkins --- shoulder. Claiborne --- whatever the fuck!

Jones says Ciskowski remains in charge of Cowboys' draft board

You don't draft CBs in the 1st round and certainly not to the tune of giving up two draft picks. And you don't pay a CB a $51 million contract where he is guaranteed half of it, when he has done nothing to warrant it. The Chiefs let him walk, and they end up in the playoffs.

Roger Goodell: NFL will explore eliminating the extra point

That's not the point. In fact you are probably in the minority on this. Games are often won or lost on that single point. The thing is... what is there to be gained from getting rid of it, because this asshole has a burr up his ass, and just want to fuck with shit?

Jones says Ciskowski remains in charge of Cowboys' draft board

dbair is correct on this. In fact, most mocks had the Redskins --- who had the #6 pick before moving up for Robert, as taking Claiborne. That doesn't mean shit to me though. He was not then and certainly not now worth the #6 overall pick. I think many mocks were on Claiborne because of Patrick...

Jones says Ciskowski remains in charge of Cowboys' draft board

I wanted Reid. A good draft would have been if we had gotten Reid, then either Frederics or Warford.

Jones says Ciskowski remains in charge of Cowboys' draft board

I also was against the pick. I'm a firm believer of NOT drafting CBs in the 1st round and really no rounds before the 3rd. I've come to realize that CB are the most overrated, overhyped, and overpaid position on defense. If you have an excellent front seven, and very good safeties, you can get...
