    Probably a little better, but I doubt it's a lot better. The real difference is that the 2002 team had the boat anchor of a horrendous QB and offense around its neck. This team should be playing with leads, sometimes big ones, most of the year.

    Sad thing is, our DL still isn't as good as what Campo had in 2002, at least until Hardy gets back. Crawford isn't as good as Glover, No DE we have except Hardy is as good as Ellis, Lawrence is probably equal to Ekuban, and Golden Cock *is* Brandon Noble. The 2002 defense even ranked higher...

    Same. Other teams knew he was talented and passed on him because he had big issues beyond a little weed. Seems like everyone assumes he won't be a problem because Dez worked out, but Dez never had substance or mental health issues. And I doubt Gregory will want a Cowboys chaperone around him...

    Anything is possible, but I'm actually more afraid that we start well, players become the toast of the town and get way too full of themselves, and bad things happen toward the end of the year. I think low expectations are one of the best things for this franchise, and played a big part in last...

    I really really hate the offseason.

    I don't think I'll be that fired up until the actual season starts. I don't think we're going to be able to tell anything from training camp or even preseason this year, because we're going to run a pretty soft camp so as to not risk injury. And remember how bad we looked last preseason...
