Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

I'm guessing you're a fan? I guess we can do worse and I like the interview you linked. Some guys just need football and they bleed football. He started from the ground up and worked his way up the NFL food chain, unlike someone else we know. I bet he won't be out of a job long.

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

What makes you believe Dak couldn't run if he wanted to? Just more meaningless qualifiers for Dak. You guys act like Garrett had a joy stick and controlled when Dak ran, when he passed and everything else about his game.

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

Would anything surprise us at this point? The most plausible possibility I read is that they offered him another job and let him consider it. It wouldn't surprise me if he took another job in the organization rather than take a shot in the real world of the NFL where not meeting expectations...

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

So you think when the play broke down and the DL were bearing down on him, he thought about what Garrett would say and stayed in the pocket? I saw a guy who had hard a hard time stepping up into a clean pocket and instead (instinctively) tried to roll outside only to run into a DE that he...

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

The stories we're going to hear about this team and it's staff are going to be epic. RKG, process, phases of the game, etc. can all go kiss my ass.

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

This man can't meet his maker soon enough. And I don't like saying that...it's just a game. But I've come to dislike the man so much that I couldn't care what happens to him. Greedy fucking narcissist......

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

These rumors are out of Control. Witten? Really? And Campbell? What has he done? Is he an accomplished coach on either side of the ball? He's a TE coach. No thanks. I want better. I'll say this. If Jerry gives us scrap again this time around to satisfy his comfort zone, I'm out. I'm...

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

These candidates can not bring any excitement to this fan base. It will just be more of the same and the beginning of the end of the Jones money making machine. The old man burned all his credit with Garrett's 10 year tenure.

    Week 17: Redskins at Cowboys

If he does that, I'm officially out.

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

I know what I'd be getting with a guy like Zimmer. I don't know what I'd be getting with someone outside the organization if Jerry goes there. Jerry's a salesman first and foremost. He has to sell the new coach to the fan base or he'll lose the fans even more. He knows this. He's had 10...

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

I agree that he should be a better coach with BP's influence. But he's not. Zimmer is to the D side of the ball what Garrett is to the O. By the same token, we thought Garrett would have some Jimmy in him having played for the man but none of that rubbed off on him.

    E.T. Returns...

    E.T. Returns...

I'm bumping this just so King isn't the only one posted in a thread. I have no idea what the thread is about, but I just want to be courteous.

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

No argument here Yimmy and I respect your opinion. My disdain for Zimmer only has to do with him as a coach. And I could appreciate any Parcells influence but tell me where that is? He's still a 4-3 guy, where BP was a 3-4. What defensive philosophies have rubbed off on Zimmer? Zimmer got a...

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

Good post but let me start by saying I haven't heard anyone talk about Zimmer as an innovator on the D side of the ball. Parcells liked him because Jerry asked BP to keep Zimmer on and he was a coach's son. His defenses were soft and as dbair mentioned, just couldn't keep a lead. I was as...

Redemption for us when Garrett Gone

To put it another way, wanting Zimmer here is akin to wanting Rod to coach this team in a few years. Not me. No retreads....
