I think Nelson is a huge loss for them. He's no Dez ability-wise, but he just had such great rapport with Rodgers, and they can't replace that. I thought going into the year that they were our main competition for the NFC crown, and this only helps our chances. A lot.

NFL Preseason Week 2: Dallas @ San Francisco

So I wonder how much effort we put into this next game. Do we actually get some starters a few series of work in the traditional dress rehearsal game, or continue to fear playing anyone with any little nick and go into Week One completely cold?

Side note, but Campo on the broadcast was really kind of sickening. Just shows that once you're made in the Jones family, you're really good for life.

NFL Preseason Week 2: Dallas @ San Francisco

Everlasting, I think pretty much all of us expect the Cowboys to be a really good team this year.* Should contend for it all, in fact. That doesn't mean we have to excuse everything that doesn't look good. *edit, except Dooms, I guess.

The special teams literally couldn't look much worse. Huge returns all game long, FG missed, punt blocked for a TD... Just terrible all around.

    Chris Borland Interview

Of course the combine is a cattle business. It's the same as any other employer hiring someone they're potentially paying millions of dollars to -- they want to know as much as they can about them so they can make the best decision. Football is more physical than most professions, but it's the...

    Chris Borland Interview

See, this is where these people lose me. Dehumanizing and debasing? How is that? Give me a break. They aren't out there going at each other with meat cleavers, for God's sake. Football is a lot less violent than MMA, just to name one.

Still think the Skins screwed the pooch big time taking that spare guard instead of him.

Story I heard was that Norv didn't want to come back here, that he preferred Minny where he knew he'd truly get to run his own show.
