DMN: Moore: What Stephen Jones' influence on the Cowboys really is

Exactly. Steve has to say things haven't changed so as not to show up his own dad, but we all know it's true.

    Tony Romo

I think you're just too sensitive. You admit yourself most of us think the team will win 10+ this year. Guess this place does seem negative compared to Blogging the Boys or the Own, though. Hey guys, instead of discussing our RB situation, let's have more "WHat's on the menu today gais!!"...

    Tony Romo

Actually Romo was all Parcells. Jerry was on the radio that week supporting Bledsoe and and sounding like he was against Romo playing... Of course Jerry was probably still butthurt over his boy Henson washing out. (The guy Jim Garrett claimed would be as good or better than Aikman, BTW.)...

JJT: How Jason Garrett has put his imprint on the Dallas Cowboys

Yep. It's funny, even Norv Freaking Turner won his division three years in a row and got to a conference championship game, and no one thinks he's a great head coach. Why? Partly because he had that franchise QB in place. And I bet JJT was thinking Jerry-era Cowboys. I hope he doesn't...

Final end of preseason Super Bowl Odds

I'm not a gambler at all, but yeah, I'd almost put some money on them this year. Especially at those odds.

NFL Week #1: TNF | New York Giants (0-0) @ Dallas Cowboys (0-0)

True, but at some point the sheer talent difference should be the deciding factor. Should. We better not just roll out there and think we have this thing won like a lot of people are suggesting.

JJT: How Jason Garrett has put his imprint on the Dallas Cowboys

Lol... Better than Landry, eh? JJT is a lazy idiot, same as ever. He was on Garrett's jock from the start and refused to ever admit he was wrong when we were going 8-8, 8-8, 8-8. Funny how the players started "responding" to him a lot better once Linehan came in.

NFL Week #1: TNF | New York Giants (0-0) @ Dallas Cowboys (0-0)

Yep. We're a better team anyway, but they're missing so many players. And not just scrubs, but some of their best players.

Damn. Rookie showing Hambrick levels of stupidity.

Sturm- I like this team, but still cautious

But the truth is, even teams who make good decisions have to get very lucky in the draft to land a good QB. It's such an inexact science, and so many QBs who "should" be good wash out. Or the draft might simply not fall right to draft one. I'd have very little faith that a second rounder...

Sturm- I like this team, but still cautious

Exactly. It's insane to suggest that luck doesn't exist. In the long term, yes, theoretically it all evens out. But in the short term, it plays a huge factor when you're talking about a league of parity like this one where one bounce of the ball can make the difference in winning or losing a...

We did get lucky that Jerry unplugged Garrett's headphone mic, though.

Former Cowboy Scott Chandler with the TD. Just think of all the second rounders we could have saved if we'd just kept him.
