Oh I don't either about Hardy. That just happened to be the topic. Point was, it was a rare occasion where he gave a lame answer and the reporter didn't simply slink away like they were afraid they'd upset him.

The local media are absolutely pathetic. Teams shits all over itself weeks in a row and he opens his Monday press conference with his usual grinning, "How we doin', guys?" And they all answer in unison, "Great, coach!" Bunch of gutless, embarrassing lemmings. Hell no they aren't going to...

    Post something positive thread...

Seriously, that's one of the many reasons this team will probably be very good again next year, besides lowered expectations and killing the sense of entitlement this year's team had. Next year the team will be hungry to prove itself again, the coaches probably won't run such a Camp Bubblewrap...

    Deadspin Hardy incident photos

Part of it is the old wildcatter gambling on a cheap asset, and I'm sure he wants everyone to give him credit as a GM for it if it works. But part of it seems to be that for whatever reason Jerry gets a big charge out of befriending these guys and helping them along. Look how he was on Hard...

    2015 NFL Week #9: Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-5)

Forgot to mention mid's point... Yeah, go ahead and put Wilcox on the scrap heap of failed project safeties. I don't ever remember a safety who took worse angles and got faked out of his jock more than this guy. And pointed it out during the game, but did you guys see him returning a kickoff...

Couple'a random questions mostly re: 2016

Whoops, just happened to mention Lee in another thread. But yep, what a terrible shame. Dude is a great player and better pro, and he has to be getting close to having to quit. All those other knee injuries don't make one bit of difference, but the concussions are a different animal. Here's...

    2015 NFL Week #9: Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-5)

Yeah I blame about 90% of that loss on the defense. We know we're not going to be good on offense with Romo out. But we gave up, what two 90 yard TD drives? No way that should happen. And the Eagles OL had been crap even before they lost their very good starting left tackle. No way that...

    Jason Garrett: Master Orator

Yeah, that one in particular pissed me off. Sherman was a proven WR coach who had been around and had a good reputation for over a decade. But he was one of the few assistants who was a Wade guy, so the media and Garrett fans practically tried to paint him as some type of disloyal traitor who...

    Jason Garrett: Master Orator

When those feelings creep in, just remember his throwing Romo under the bus after the Denver game, and his refusing to take responsibility for terrible clock mismanagement at the end of the old Cards and Ravens games, and his basically blaming his predecessor for everything that supposedly was...

    Players Only Meeting

FWIW, one of the reporters asked Mincey about that in the locker room last night and he said yeah, it's about time for one of those. Now whether he really meant it or was just going along with the question, I don't know. He didn't say it with a lot of conviction. It almost sounded more like...

Who will be Garrett's "fall guy" this offseason?

I could see a tiny possibility that Marinelli gets pushed to retire. He's got to be about that age, doesn't he? But more likely it'll be some lower position coach that gets it. Even more likely is that we start winning most of our games when Tony comes back and they'll be selling that all...

    2015 NFL Week #9: Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-5)

Yeah, that 4th and 1 was the game. Big call there. Even that fg from 53 was risky with a shaky kicker you had to pick up during the year. He misses and we just have to go about 20 yards to win.

Jerry Jones: What still gives me hope in Cowboys

McFadden first time in his career three games of 20 carries? Why isn't Michael getting to spell him any? History shows he's going to break soon if we don't give him a rest. Jerry is real proud of him though. Feels like Jerry would just love to give him a big extension.

Damn skippy. Did you see how he treated Fisher in the postgame "handshake" today after Bridgewater got knocked out with a dirty hit? Contrast that with our ginger politician who has big grins for opposing coaches even when we lose.

Zimmer is a no-bullshit ass kicker. I'm not saying he's Lombardi, but there's a reason Parcells loved him so much -- because he doesn't back down from anyone and doesn't sugarcoat it when players need to get their shit together. Basically, he's the exact opposite of our gaping hole order-taker.
