    Maybe, but like bb said, it's kind of weird he didn't do it this week. I mean it's not like he's coming off playing a game. Plus with Thanksgiving four days later, he won't get a day then either. Probably doesn't matter, but still kind of interesting.

    No doubt about that. And I really don't doubt he'll be good right away. I guess I have some doubt about the rest of the team being able to just turn it on. I mean, that Bucs game was different from the Seattle or Giants losses. That game was absolutely putrid in all areas.

    That's a fair question. Didn't he practice the first week on Wednesday but then went back to skipping the next? It does almost seem like superstition at this point since it worked so well last year.

    Yes it is. But I think he more than proved last year that he's fine skipping it. Plus he has a legitimate back issue. A lot of these jokers are just trying to get out of practice whenever possible IMO.

    I'm old enough to remember Landry at least a little, and he was nothing like Garrett. The only way Garrett is remotely like Landry is he has a low-key, measured personality -- but so do zillions of people who know or care nothing about football. Otherwise, no comparison.

    Only problem with drafting a QB is what makes anyone think we can develop him? Wade Wilson and Ginger Dummy? The only people we've seen them work with is Stephen McGee and Weeden, and look how that turned out. Apparently the only non-Romo QB Garrett can win with is Kitna.
