    I get that it's guessing and luck is involved but there is actual value in where a player is selected. Sure, they get Elliott at 4 and he's a good player. The good teams figure out how to get Elliott at pick 9 or 14 and get something for moving down.

    I don't recall if I read it or heard it on one of the Cowboys podcasts, but they reported Shaq would have been the pick. Supposedly Shaq's agent had assurances that Shaq would be our pick as well. Carolina took him 25th, we took Byron 27th.
