Sturm: The Target of the Cowboys Offseason Plan

I think we at least make a hard run at Nicks like we did Nnamdi. Whether or not he signs is the question...I doubt Jerry just sits there and just not even sort of chase after Nicks or Grubbs. If Nicks decides to go back to the Saints at the same money we offered there's nothing Jerry can really do.

The first Robert Griffin to Browns trade rumor emerges

What a great spot for the Rams. They pick up another high 2nd and STILL get Blackmon.

Dre Kirkpatrick arrested UPDATE: Charges DROPPED - Welcome to Dallas, Dre

Eh he won't drop far. I'd be scared since he seems like the type that will get caught up with something once he gets money. I mean cmon..he's from Alabama.

Fixing the Cowboys: Start with Carl Nicks, rookie CB

Is Zeitler any good out of Wisconsin? I know he's not at Decastro's level but I wonder if they sign Nicks and go after a Claiborne or Kirkpatrick in the first, then pick up a OG in the 2nd or 3rd round Just wonder if there's more dropoff between Decastro and Glenn or Kirkpatrick and Minnifield.

    Blueprint to fix the Defense

I like Michael Griffin but he's played in a cover 2 system his whole career.. I'd sign Finnegan to replace Newman. I'd sign Donte Whitner to replace Elam I'd sign Carl Nicks to replace Kosier I'd sign Osi to replace Spencer Draft Decastro to replace Holland Draft Minnifield to replace Ball...

adam shefter :carl nicks "not expected to be back with saints"

I think so. I think Davis busted at LT and never was all pro at guard when we signed him. He went to 3 probowls with us though.

    Why not?

Im worried about that chink in the armor at the Center position. Feel like teams would attack that. But I could live with those picks.

    Why not?

Why not draft Decastro at 14 and move up for Konz in the first? LT-Tyron Smith (21 years old) LG-Carl Nicks (27 years old) Center- Peter Konz (22 years old) RG-David Decastro (22 years old) RT- Doug Free( 27 years old) Are you kidding me!? That Oline is fucking unreal. Just sign Courtland...

Free agent offensive lineman, who do you want on this team next year?

We have the cap space to sign Nicks AND another top tier player like Carr, Griffin, Finnegan. Sounds like Management will at least try to get them like they did Nnamdi. It will simply come down to if top those teams offers.

Free agent offensive lineman, who do you want on this team next year?

If Nicks signs back with his team or gets franchised, same with Grubbs...I'd see what kind of money he's looking for. He and Arkin can battle out that spot.

Free agent offensive lineman, who do you want on this team next year?

It's tough because Jerry has spent huge money on Leonard Davis in 2007. He did great for about 3 yrs and earned his money but his play dropped significantly. I wonder if Jerry is gun shy about shelling out that much money to an OG again. It's nice to know he's at least done it before. If we...

Mock drafts: Consensus says Cowboys will take OL David DeCastro

By releasing Newman, it saves 4 million in cap space. Give that to Courtland..at least he plays with some toughness and fire.

Free agent offensive lineman, who do you want on this team next year?

Chilo has struggled a lot this year. He actually got benched by harbaugh...he isn't that good.
