    Playoff win or fire Garrett?

Garrett should be fired barring an NFC championship appearance. I would think after all of these years Garrett would need to exceed expectations. Beating a wildcard team and then getting stomped in the divisional round is not doing that.

2018 NFL Week #17 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (9-6) @ New York Giants (5-10)

I'm pretty sure we'll be playing the Saints if Dallas beats Seattle. Especially if the Eagles starter is Sudfeld, or whatever his name is.

2018 NFL Week #17 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (9-6) @ New York Giants (5-10)

I've got whiskey, but I can get the same results with that. I know it's not going to happen, it was just what I am hoping for. Similar to my opinion in the Cowboys playing in this year's Super Bowl. Tyrone, Zach, Zeke, and Mike White are all inactive this week so that pretty much annihilates...

2018 NFL Week #17 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (9-6) @ New York Giants (5-10)

Garrett better be careful if he chooses to rest Dak. I know the two backups the Cowboys have need a ton of work, but it wouldn't surprise me if either one made Dak look bad for one game. I know it's not going to happen, but I'd love to see one of them put up 390 yards and throw for 4 TDs.

    Any interest in Jalen Ramsey?

I wouldn't trade Chido for a malcontent. He's probably worth a 1st because he's still on his rookie contract and 5th year option in 2020. But that's if you want to blow another 1st for a few years. And we still have a major QB issue. So I'd have to say no to it all.

DMN: 5 thoughts from the Cowboys' stunning loss to Colts

Right. But in 2016 he did throw fades and back shoulder passes, I forget if he went down the middle or not. Why have they been removed? Our entire offense is Zeke running the ball or getting a quick pass from the backfield. Passing is mostly short passes, curls, comebacks, stop routes, outs...

DMN: 5 thoughts from the Cowboys' stunning loss to Colts

You're right. I was just talking to someone about exactly that. We can't count on Cooper to break 75 yard TDs to bail us out every week. We have to have some consistency besides dumb luck. The redzone issues are just a result of our limited attack on offense. The closer you get to the...

DMN: 5 thoughts from the Cowboys' stunning loss to Colts

I think it's by design. That's what bothers me. They didn't limit Romo to this. So why are they purposefully limiting Dak? I think we know why. That's why I said I don't believe Dallas sees a future with this quarterback. I do remember that offense, just forget it was Chan Gailey's...

DMN: 5 thoughts from the Cowboys' stunning loss to Colts

The Cowboys redzone offense sucks because our QB cannot go down the middle of the field. It's run plays swing passes or quick outs. By now it is no surprise that defensive coordinators are picking up on this. This extends to the rest of the field as well. Nothing to challenge defenses down...

2018 NFL Week #15 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (8-5) @ Indianapolis Colts (7-6)

It's the same story every week with this offense. We have trouble putting up points most of the game. This time it was all game. At some point they have to narrow it down to the biggest problem, the quarterback. The Cowboys can't have a Tyrod Taylor moment because they don't have Baker...

DMN: 5 thoughts from Cowboys' huge OT win over Eagles

This is two weeks in a row the Cowboys themselves have kept their opponent in the game. I know Dak ended up having a good day, but those two picks were brutal! One of them put Philly right back in the game. Dak has to relax and stop playing like he has an extra dose of caffeine in that...

2018 NFL Week #13 Gameday Thread: New Orleans Saints (10-1) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-5)

You're right for the most part. Except I think his head was borderline in the neutral zone. I would be ok with the borderline call if the ref didn't throw the flag 3 seconds after the snap. Just about after Drew Brees was fumbling. I hope it got stuck in his pocket.

The Saints are blitzing and Prescott still can't find a guy?

That's a possibility. If Dallas wins tonight a 10-6 season is very likely.

Saints favored by 7 over Cowboys

I don't see how the Cowboys can win. But, the Saints were 13-0 back in 2009 and the Cowboys went to their house and gave them their first loss. They're not gods. Anything can happen. I hope they come in over confident.

Who Ya Got? Week 11 - Dallas Cowboys vs. Atlanta Falcons

I do not see Dallas winning this game. Something like 24-16 Atlanta is my guess.

DMN: 5 thoughts from Cowboys' win at Eagles

For the life of me I don't know how Garrett manages to pull this off. They played like a team possessed. What brought this on? It can't be Garrett. Is it that they didn't like being embarrassed the week before? That inspired them? We need to keep that kind of intensity level. LVE made a...

    Who would you root for?

That was basically my point. It would have to be a totally new franchise.
