    No. We had abandoned our BPA/top player on the board strategy by then. I think Jerry's plan was hope for Cooper/Warmack and then when that didn't pan out, he wanted to justify taking Frederick so he jumped way down.

    We didn't. We drafted some good players. We reached. We drafted small school guys too early. We ignored glaring holes. Business as usual.

    This also means two years in a row we had pretty high grades on players who went undrafted (Leary and Magee) . May want to reevaluate our process some.

    It worked so props but I wish we'd just come up with a draft philosophy and stick with it. We seem to shift every few years. The more personnel decisions/judgement calls Jerry makes the more scared I get.

    Jerry had him pegged as a pure Nose Tackle, which is wrong by itself. The guy doesn't care about drafting the player who best helps the team, he cares about everyone thinking he's a wheeler and dealer.

    I'm a Miles fan. I wish he didn't cost a billion dollars and that he could stay healthy, but I'm still a fan. Love it when he catches that quick slant and immediately cuts back outside. Makes cornerbacks look silly.
