    As much as I want religion completely out of my law, I want law out of religion(within reason, no hurting kids, sacrificing animals, etc). A church who has opposing views should not be forced to host gay weddings. That's just asking for trouble.

The $2.1M he will still count in 2014 comes from that prorated bonus (700k times 3 years remaining on deal). So 700k has to count towards this year's cap no matter what...

    Shut it. The only thig I can think of is maybe because there is an injury settlement that impacts the $1.7M of guaranteed money. Everything I've ever read is that when it comes to the salary cap, guaranteed money is guaranteed and accelerates once the player is cut, traded, or retires.
