    Jerry not happy with Garrett

Trying to be cautiously optimistic here, but in truth... what would you expect Stephen to say? He wouldn't come out and say, "NO. GARRETT'S GONE AFTER THIS SEASON!". There was still a chance for the Cowboys to make the playoffs. We all are familiar with the Jones' saying one thing and then...

    2015 NFL Week #14: Dallas Cowboys (4-8) @ Green Bay Packers (8-4)

It's Garrett out thinking himself as always. With McFadden's success off those first couple of runs, Garrett anticipated that Green Bay will make a concerted effort to stop the run from then on. So Garret's like, "I'll show them. I'll stop the run before they do." He's playing chess against...

Is this wat Stephen is talking about of how they keep battling?

Garrett's not going anywhere. Didn't you read what Stephen Jones said?

    Jerry not happy with Garrett

HA! So in all those interviews, he's failed to learn the the more prominent aspect: be original. Garrett is described as being risk averse, yet all the coaches he's interviewed were none of that.

    Jerry not happy with Garrett

A rather diplomatic way of saying that he's gutless.

Stephen A Smith: Garrett is a privileged dbag

He's right about this. Wade Phillips is a prime example. Regardless as to how many of you feel about SAS injecting race into it, you have to be glad that Garrett's FINALLY having klieg lights shined on him by the national media. Now if the local Dallas media will pick it up and run with it...

    2015 NFL Week #13: Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6)

Let me take a stab at it. "Football is PLAYED on Sundays. We PRACTICE football during the week. The FOOTBALL PLAY that we perform on FOOTBALL SUNDAYS, is a culmination of the FOOTBALL PRACTICES during the FOOTBALL WEEK. If we want to PLAY football better on FOOTBALL Sunday, we have to PRACTICE...

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

You're mocking him, but evidently you and all the rest fail to grasp the genius within the simplicity of it.

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

Sounds like Mike Tice when he was coach up here for the Vikings. Football this. Football that. Football... football... football.

    Jerry not happy with Garrett

You're half right. You didn't win on tactical mastery --- correct. But you also didn't win on sheer will. You won because one team sucked worse than the other. Believe me if your Red-Headed Wonder could have found a way to lose, he would have.

    2015 NFL Week #13: Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6)

And he did nothing to distinguish himself as a QB coach. The following year... he becomes the HIGHEST-PAID OC in the league, without EVER calling a single play. Talk about falling upwards.

ESPN the Magazine: Why the Cowboys Suck

What pisses me off more is how it seems the media is giving Garrett a pass.

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

Is fat meat greasy? The only job that is safer than Garrett's is Jerry's. Sadly.

    2015 NFL Week #13: Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6)

He may have complete garbage at QB --- he had it with Foles. But what about his run game?

    2015 NFL Week #13: Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6)

Good thing about the Eagles winning... means that Chip saved his job possibly.

    2016 top 5 QB prospects

Which would be offset/neutralized playing under Garrett.

    2015 NFL Week #13: Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6)

If both the Panthers and Patriots lose... I have the feeling that somehow Jerry is going to use it as a means of vindicating Garrett.

    2015 NFL Week #13: Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6)

I guarantee you Beckham would be a ghost as well in Garrett's system. Remember this team went 5-wide (empty backfield) against one of the worst secondaries in the league, and not a single receiver could get open.

    2015 NFL Week #13: Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6)

You're not the only one. When was the last time the Cowboys got swept by a division like we did by the NFC South? I'm thinking when they went 1-15 that year back in either '89 or '90.
