Redskins’ transformation started by hiring a former Dallas assistant

And yet they haven't beaten a single team with a winning record. And they couldn't even beat the hapless Cowboys at home. But that's none of my business.

Yeah because losing Romo and Dez had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Bob Sturm: Why I just don't love the fit of Jason Garrett coaching the Dallas Cowboys

A good coach doesn't go 8-8 three consecutive years in a row, by losing the last game of the season in which if they just won... they're in. A good coach doesn't come up short like that in this weak-ass division, and with this roster. A good coach doesn't lose 7 straight games just because...

Stephen Jones: "We're totally in with Jason."

They are not even acknowledging that the ship is sinking. In fact, they would tell you that the hitting of the iceberg was a deliberate thing to assess how seaworthy the ship is.

As Eagles make change, Cowboys stay on course, which should concern fans

What good is having good players on the field, only to neutralize such by hiring the idiotic lovechild of Howdy Doody and Mrs. Garrett of Facts of Life? Yeah, the GM is to blame for that.

    Eagles fire Chip Kelly

Sorry, he's no Al Davis. Al Davis would have fired Garrett after the second consecutive 8-8 season.

I hope I'm wrong as well. You know that. Thing is... just not going to get my hopes up. I'm going to be pissed, I know this. But it'd be far worse if I got my hopes up.

USA Today: Is Garrett on the hot seat after Weedens success in Houston?

His seat is as hot as a penguin's ass in Antarctica in the dead of winter.

Jerru refuses to talk after game, Stevie doesnt say much either

At least he'd get away with this foolish Air Coryell shit. He definitely would go back to the run game.

The only people that want Garrett to stay are he ones that HATE the Cowboys. King definitely hates the Cowboys.

I'll take the good coach. We have a silent Jerry now and the worst coach.

Jerru refuses to talk after game, Stevie doesnt say much either

Yeah. He's coming back. Make no mistake. But I do not get why he is mad? Didn't he say to the effect, that once the Cowboys were out of it... that he would "covet" those draft picks?

    OUR future

And that's not on Romo. Basically he's done all he can with this offense.

Potentially good news for all you Garrett lovers!

I would love to be a fly on the wall in the room with Jerry, Stephen, and Garrett, having this discussion.

Firing Garrett would cost Jerry $24 million.

Then he follows that up with getting swept by an entire division (NFC South). First to occur for this team since re-alignment back in 2002.

Firing Garrett would cost Jerry $24 million.

If my numbers are wrong, someone show me. I'm certain about the first contract and of course the current contract.

Firing Garrett would cost Jerry $24 million.

But then has the fucking nerve to balk at Sean Payton's demands of $8 million/yr. I'm sorry, but while $8 million is quite steep, I am sure many would find paying Payton $8 million, makes a lot more sense than paying Garrett $6 million. BTW... Garrett is #9 (Romo's number --- coincidence?) on...
