    Right now, the Bama trio in this order: Courtney Upshaw, Dre Kirkpatrick, Donte Hightower. I think 14 is too high for Konz and don't want Dennard.     Yeah, but I read the other day an analysis that said Hightower may be better suited for OLB in the NFL. Not sure if that's so or not, but I do like Upshaw better.

    Looking at the draft, the value in the middle of the first is at LB. There's about 4-5 I've seen projected between 10-20. Upshaw and Hightower are two to really look at if we decide to make a move to replace Spencer. Kuechly of BC is a bigtime ILB, but I think I'd prefer OL, LB or CB in the first.

    LSU sucks. Upshaw > Kirkpatrick Alabama is totally loaded with at least 4 2012 first rounders just on defense: Upshaw, Kirkpatrick, Hightower, Barron. They are also loading up on this years recruiting class. I wish Saban had been successful with the Dolphins and stayed there.

    It definitely needs to be addressed. I just don't want to see us zero in on one area like we have in the past even to the point of bypassing better talent at other positions.

    I'd take Kirkpatrick over Dennard, but I'd prefer DeCastro at this point. But I'm sure we'll take the top rated CB on the board since we are solely fixated on the secondary now.

    It's funny we get excited when someone in the front office recognizes what most fans have known all year, that the secondary and OL are our biggest needs. It is a good sign but sad that we have to doubt if anyone in management will notice this.
