If this Doesn't Get the Boys Fired Up, Nothing Will

It looks like that fellow from The Goonies. Really. Being a fan of the highest profile team means that due to the simple law of averages, there is a very good chance we have more mongoloid fans like this than any other team. Call me a snob, but that bothers me.

Since its Niners week- two classics

I really miss the artistry of the CBS telecasts (and of course Summerall with Madden). You watch a FOX game now and see a stupid robot and Joe Buck undressing Troy Aikman with his eyes. It is pitiful.

Troy Aikman: If it weren't for Romo, 'there would be no expectations'

I didn't. I certainly was not proud of Romo. I was proud of the team though. Five interceptions is hard for any team to bounce back from but they did, due in large part to Newman's interception and Folk's clutch kick.

Troy Aikman: If it weren't for Romo, 'there would be no expectations'

Proof that concussions cause brain damage. When Troy was drafted we had missed the playoffs for three years. THREE. We had won our division in 1985. We lost to the Rams, but we still won our division. We were six years removed from an NFC Championship game. I don't know where on earth...

Giggle Giggle....WR Robinson released....FB fiametta resigned.

Yes, but did they need to pay a guaranteed veteran salary to feel better about it? I know, not my money. It just doesn't seem to be a smart transaction overall.

Romo: I cost us the game

Of course. All I know is that I am numb to it. I know some of his fans will take it as him being accountable, but really it is an insult. Just quit screwing up. That's all I want anymore. I don't care how much he apologizes. He can piss off.

Cowboys sick over losing Josh Thomas

Of course not. But cutting a player you really would like to develop while keeping others on the roster you really do not (Holland) makes even less sense. There are roster games that teams play. It is just that we are not very good at playing them. The best move would be to try to sneak...

Cowboys sick over losing Josh Thomas

In general, you do not want to expose drafted rookies to the waiver process. Too many teams know these players and have studied them. A lot of times it is a chance to get your hands on a player missed out on drafting. If we truly liked this player enough to try to develop him, like you said...

    Montrae Holland Cut

So we claim a player just to put him on I.R.? What kind of sense does that make?

Cut Day Olshansky, Akwasi, 4 FBs Among 27 Cuts

I thought of all the backup ILBs that he would make it. I am surprised we are going into a game with only three active, particularly since two of them (Lee and Brooking) are injury risks. I know people think we may be targeting a veteran, I am not convinced there is one out there who could...

    Defense last in pre-season takeaways

Correct. This team needs some personality on defense. The coach cannot do that. It just seems we have no "wolves" on defense, so to speak.

    Case for the Defense

In this scheme, the line has to hold their own, more like Parcells' line than what Phillips had. In other words, a player like Ratliff has to hold the point. That is what Shaun Rogers did for Ryan in Cleveland last season. I think the line could have used another player to take teams away...

    Case for the Defense

I did not see the game but I will have to take your word for it. For as much as the line goes, it sure would have been nice if Jerry Jones had been a little more aggressive and outbid Philadelphia for Cullen Jenkins.
