    Losing Linehan

Sure he'd concede... Because that's what Jerry would tell him to do. Just like with Callahan and then Linehan. If it were up to Garrett, he'd still be calling the plays himself. More likely is that Norv wouldn't want the circus here. He didn't last time.

    Tony Romo - Lovable Loser

So Dak would inspire the Bills or Jets or Niners into winners? Got it. And Trent Dilfer "got it done" while Dan Marino didn't. Guess we know who was the superior QB.

    FAQs

Meant to mention this before bc I thought you'd appreciate it, Omega. But a couple of games ago on the Witten show on the Ticket, Sturm asked him about the offense looking different this year and Witten said you had to give credit to coach Linehan for all the nakeds and boots and rollouts he'd...

    Tony Romo - Lovable Loser

I'm not even *the* biggest Romo fan -- I know he wasn't perfect and had some flaws. But the blatant disrespect he gets, I don't understand. If Jerry hadn't tripped over a winning Powerball ticket as he stumbled out the of the bar one April day and we were running Kellen Moore out there...

    Tony Romo - Lovable Loser

Meh. Dak has a way better team around him than Tony had for all but a year or two, and one of those was 2014, which was very similar to this one. Dak has rare leadership skills, no doubt about it. But put him on a lesser roster and he wouldn't be winning anything.

What happened to staying sharp, keeping the pedal to the metal, etc.? Not that I disagree, but I thought we'd heard playing this like a regular week was Garrett's way. Instead, this sounds like Wade Phillips. Not very Jimmy-like.

    2016 NFL Week #17: Dallas Cowboys (13-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (6-9)

So what changed? Yesterday all the reports were about Sanchez getting the backup reps and Romo not getting any. I really don't see any upside to playing him. You've waited this long, now you're going to play him a few third string reps with some backup OL in the last game of the year? What...

The chemistry came from Dak, and I don't think Ginger will ruin it because Ginger didn't create it or sustain it in the first place.

I haven't either and I didn't understand why Teryl Austin got so much hype because Football Outsiders had them as the 31st ranked defense in the league. And last night they looked like it.

ESPN: How Dallas built the NFL's 1,586 lb MVP

Yes, Garrett said ever since he got there there was a concerted effort to rebuild the line. Almost verbatim. Which is at the very best bending the truth. Which is irritating. The other part is what you said: The OL was the weakness on offense. We already had Pro Bowl talent at literally...

    2016 NFC Playoff Tracker

How does it do that? We're much better against the run than pass. Or at least we were until some white kid named Zack Zenner showed up. Cousins is sort of boom or bust to me. He could throw some picks and we win easily. But if he gets hot, he could actually pose a problem. They do have...
