Day After Thoughts: Giants beat us again

Try one week. What was wrong with Dak's numbers in the Redskins' game? He threw for a TD and ran one in. QBR of 108.

THIS^^^. But the running was working. This was NOT the game in which you would pass that many times and essentially abandon the running game. It would have made more sense to do this this coming week in Dallas.

    2016 NFL Week #14: Dallas Cowboys (11-1) @ New York Giants (8-4)

If they would have kept with the run from the first half and just worn them down. Wasting plays on Dunbar certainly didn't help.

But the Cowboys HAVE a running game, and pretty much abandoned it. 6 times Zeke was out on 3rd downs. Having Dumbar in... has nothing to do with Bryant or Dak.

Didn't trust him.... after throwing the ball 36 times? I agree with you, but it just shows how fucked up Garrett's mindset.

5 thoughts: Dallas must find way to get Dak Prescott, Dez Bryant on same page

Expect to see more of this shit to come from here on. If he was going to go with a strategy of abandoning the run, it would have made more sense to have done it this coming week in Dallas, under more favorable conditions. We all get it that the Cowboys lost because they passed too much/run not...

I was indifferent with him being first hired as OC. Sparano was around the first year to hold his hand. But the full-fledged hatred came with the Redskins' game on Sunday night. Cowboys down 3-0, 4 SECONDS LEFT IN THE FIRST HALF. The idiot decides to call a play --- mind you, the Cowboys are on...

Actually I do. Many of you people have recently got to where I have always been when it comes to Garrett. From the time when he sandbagged/backstabbed Wade. No one said or suggested it was random. And no, you don't know. You cannot go by "because he doesn't ever talk into his headset", is the...

Who said it was fucking random? I'm certain this was Garrett's game plan for the game. The entire game. It has all of his hallmarks.

Bryant was out for 3 games, and the Cowboys did not miss a beat.

The Cowboys can beat ANY team if they stick with what works. That bullshit from Sunday night is not a winning strategy.

Actually he will insert himself and call plays. Not sure if you're being flip or just an ass, but most of us has been here long enough to recognize when Garrett's M.O. Show us where Garrett has been responsible for a win(s). There are plenty of examples where he has been responsible for losses...

Jerry is not the one out there calling the plays or disrupting. Jerry pretty much runs his mouth. Yeah, the Hardy signing was a lousy one. I do not think we'll see too many of those.

Believe it or not, Jerry is not as detrimental as Garrett. While Jerry remains the face (and mouth) of the organization, his influence has diminished. Stephen seems to be in a bit more control.

    2016 NFL Week #14: Dallas Cowboys (11-1) @ New York Giants (8-4)

I think Garrett was going for the 2:1 pass/run ratio. Whereas you state that the Cowboys lost because they passed the ball too much (37 times), Garrett likely thinks that they lost because they didn't pass enough. The Cowboys ran the ball 24 times, therefore according to Garrett, they should...

And we are to believe that Linehan was behind that? Right there, YOU ARE TELLING THE OPPOSING DEFENSE THAT IT'S A PASS. Take out your best and most consistant weapon on offense. A guy that is getting MVP buzz. Take him out on 3rd downs. BRILLIANT!!! When did Jimmy Johnson EVER take Emmitt...

Zeke was. He was sent out of the backfield. In fact, he got knocked down by the Eagles' defender --- should have been a penalty, but it was moot when Dak threw the TD to Witten.
