We traded a 1st and Tony Romo for Tom Brady!

That might have been the post that killed the DCU....

    3/29 Mock

Dee Ford is a solid pass rusher who probably belongs in a 3-4. Morgan Moses is a massive RIGHT Tackle only and supposedly, we like him. Kelcy Quarles is a potential starter at DT but I still haven't figured out if his success was from designed triple teams on Clowney last year. Martavis...

    3/29 Mock

Good news, bad news for me. Bad news is this mock sucks. Good news is since the talent wasn't upgraded, Garrett will be fired.

    Eagles release DeSean Jackson

We don't have the leadership necessary for a player like Jackson. Skill-wise, he'd be a great compliment to Dez.

Jerry Jones: Missing playoffs won't cost Jason Garrett.

When I watch our film I have the advantage of knowing the play called and the read so if a DB misses something I know exactly who's fault it was and what should have happened. When you watch a Cowboys game, you think you can tell what happened but you don't know the specifics, so it's just...

He's not perfect, but electrifying Texas A&M QB is best choice for Texans at No. 1

good, I need him to go top 15 to one, push a player down to the Cowboys and two, win a bet with my son.

Jerry Jones: Missing playoffs won't cost Jason Garrett.

I don't know. One of the huge responsibilities Sunday morning is breaking down tape from Saturday night's game, marking it, and getting it back out to the players. It's all online now which makes it much more efficient but still takes a ton of time. This particular head coach wants it done by a...

Jerry Jones: Missing playoffs won't cost Jason Garrett.

No, I'm serious. The passion is fading. I used to plan to go to 1 or 2 road games a year plus training camp. Next year, no plans. I'm trying to actually work in football now that the kids are grown and I can take a chance making less money. It isn't a threat, it's a realization. I used to be...

Jerry Jones: Missing playoffs won't cost Jason Garrett.

This is pretty much me only minus a playoff win. Would be convenient for me too. After next season, I'll be moving onto a 4-year school and I'm trying to take on more responsibility with coaching. This teams sucks up a lot of time and since we are so damn inept, it's time spent being miserable.

    Anthony Barr

I would hold tight at 16 to see if Barr somehow slips. I would not trade up though. Once he's gone, and unless I'm head over heels in love with Donald, Martin, or Ealy, I'd start working the trade down options, especially if one or more of the QB's are still available.

    Projected Comp Picks

Six 7 rounders? We will wreak havoc! How many of them will be guys even draft nerds like myself have never heard of?

    Mock - 3/21

I like Ed. He's smart, can line up a defense, and seems to always be in good position. He has some Taylor Mays in him where he will try to blow something up rather than just play the ball. Unlike Mays, I think he's not an amazing athlete so he will lose some footraces. I would wait on him...3rd...

    Mock - 3/21

I like Ward. To me, he can play in the slot and can cover in small areas. He will struggle in deep coverage especially against tall, long-striders. I think he could play a similar role that Honey Badger does for Arizona. He needs to be closer to the line of scrimmage (Strong Safety). We need a...

Dispute between Cowboys and Jay Ratliff is far from over as club files complaint

You mean in base salary? I'm not sure how that works with a player on the PUP. Usually, a veteran player's salary is guaranteed after Week 1 but not sure regarding a PUP situation.

Dispute between Cowboys and Jay Ratliff is far from over as club files complaint

Again, if he did that, punk move and he deserves anything coming as far as a penalty. Nothing shows he did any rehab with us or ever saw our doctors.

Dispute between Cowboys and Jay Ratliff is far from over as club files complaint

Cutting him when we did vs putting him on the IR(meaning he could not go play for another team on our upcoming schedule) and then releasing him this offseason, would have had the exact same cap affect for us.

Dispute between Cowboys and Jay Ratliff is far from over as club files complaint

Every article I've read or heard stated Jerry claiming the agent and Ratliff said he couldn't play this year. Not one word about our medical staff. ..but let's say he was on our trainer's table... Why did our staff say a player couldn't play when he was able to pass a physical 7 days later...

Dispute between Cowboys and Jay Ratliff is far from over as club files complaint

Sure I am. I just don't understand how a professional sports team releases a player who they claim can not play for them, that they invested millions of dollars in, without their medical staff vouching that the player is in fact, unable to play. Seems to me he could play.

Dispute between Cowboys and Jay Ratliff is far from over as club files complaint

So Jerry's legal maneuver is "Help me, I'm inept." ? Did the Cowboys medical staff sign off on Ratliff not being able to play the rest of the year? Because everything I read is the Cowboys (Jerry) took the word of Ratliff and his agent that he was done for the year. If so, that's dirty of...
