Hope this is the end of TWilly as a Cowboy

I don't think that much of Williams, but he's better than Butler. Butler is another one of those good-athlete, all-potential, little production guys.

Prescott 'so confident' Cowboys will be playing in next year's Super Bowl

Yep, almost reminds me of Tony after the 2007 13-3 year (IIRC) where he made some comment about not wanting to fast forward to the playoffs next year because the regular season was so enjoyable. It's not so enjoyable when things go wrong and you don't even make the playoffs. Or when you go 8-8...

The story of how Jerry Jones and the Cowboys almost never drafted Jason Witten

Yeah, at least he was a great player for a while. I mean it's not like he was some total bust like a Claiborne. Is funny that he could have played for the coach he later called a fag or queer or whatever it was he called Parcells that one time. Today he'd be banished from the league forever...

    2016 season NFL Playoffs Thread

It's pretty great if you like to be surrounded by the Idgits and Fuzzys who would rather lose with Garrett and Jerry than win with someone else, though.

    2016 season NFL Playoffs Thread

God that was sickening. Shanahan should be repeatedly kicked in the nuts for that pass call on 3rd and 1. And for managing to not even attempt a FG after that insane Julio catch that put them at the 25 or whatever. So Garrett like.

So this just happened! - Garrett CoY

I like how with everyone else, they mentioned their achievements and awards they've won. With Jerry, it was just "The Owner of the Dallas Cowboys."

Super Bowl Reminds Me Of How Much I Hate Garrett

That's what that ridiculous pass on 3rd and 1 that led to the sack-fumble was: Pure Garrett.

So this just happened! - Garrett CoY

He was already a made man after that 2014 season. We probably could have gone 4-12 two more times after last year before Jerry would even consider firing him.

Canton has it backward, voting in Cowboys’ Jerry before Jimmy

What's weird is, I could see this if other owners were voting, because he has put a lot of money in their pockets. But what's the writers' excuse? They know he's a terrible football man. This just proves that it's truly the Hall of Fame. Jerry is the most famous owner, no doubt about it.

So this just happened! - Garrett CoY

That has to be what the voters were thinking of. But yeah, no true coach of the year goes 1-11 without his starting QB. Even still, how does anyone vote Red over Dan Quinn? No one expected the Falcons to be this good.

Cowboys ‘thrilled’ to keep core of coaching staff intact

He doesn't hire the coaches, though. And even then, I'd say Stephen is more the GM. He manages the contracts, etc. Even on draft decisions, Jerry never said Will talked him out of Manziel -- Stephen did.

Hope this is the end of TWilly as a Cowboy

Yep. Johnson talked about how Parcells only taught him his little linebacker box he was to play in. Belichick taught him to comprehend the entire defense and how it all connected together. Also said, just like you, that his evaluation of opponents' strengths and weaknesses was the best he'd...

Hope this is the end of TWilly as a Cowboy

Ted Johnson was on the Ticket the other day talking about what a genius Belichick is and how far ahead of everyone else he is -- even Parcells and Pete Carroll, who he also played for in New England. I mean his incredible scouting and game planning isn't as valuable as "Hah!" and "17 Inches"...

Top two positions for Dallas to address in NFL draft and prospects to keep an eye on

Yeah, I'd say the offense was to blame for the loss just as much as the defense. In fact, it's no surprise our mediocre defense would get shredded by one of the best QBs of all time, but our supposed great offense should have been able to destroy the Packers just like the Falcons did and more...

Hope this is the end of TWilly as a Cowboy

I don't think we have to worry. He's not that good a player, and I think we know that and the market knows that. So if he stays, it won't be for much, because no one else will blow him away with a crazy offer either. Wild card: I wonder if he could end up on the same team as Romo. They've...

Here is the difference between Jimmy and Garrett

Interesting at the end about assistant coaches becoming friends with the players. How about head coaches becoming basketball buddies with them before they've won anything?

    Off-season Starts Tomorrow

Turns out this was a great call by Sheik. I still can't believe we lost with every single thing in our favor going in.
