    That's interesting. Given the specific skills/talents of the other WRs on the team, having Williams stretch the field actually seems like a good idea to me. I still don't like the body catching that Williams does, but I have to admit that it seems to be working for him.

    I haven't heard anything ... although I think during a recent press conference Garrett said something like "we maintain a short list of prospects for each position" in response to a reporter who asked the same question as Midswat.

    I don't watch Baylor football, so I never saw Williams play in college. Initially I was disappointed in him when he joined the Cowboys, but he does seem to have a knack and might just be a high quality 2nd WR for several years to come.

    The Cowboys are stuck in that vast middle range of NFL teams ... the mediocres .... They are just as likely to finish 9-7 as 7-9. It is (equally) unlikely that they'd have 10 or more losses or 10 or more wins. They are mid-range team. They can be enjoyable to watch sometimes, though.

    Silly to call the Dallas defense a no name defense. Much of the DL, sure, but the LBs have some high draft choices among them. Carr was a major free agent acquisition. #24 cost a 1st and a 2nd round pick, and Scandrick is making decent money.
