    **Super Bowl XLVIII Game Thread**

I don't get how people are "fans" of individual players and therefore adopt their respective team. All I have heard from people this week is "I hope Peyton wins, he's a class guy!". WTF ever.

Oh yeah, baby! Can't wait for the "we played the champs to the wire!" rally cry next year.

Super Bowl Thread! Complete with a poll! People like polls!

Dunno about you people, I would like to see Manning throw a pick six to Richard Sherman to end the game, then he bends Erin Andrews over on the 50 yard line. I am just sick of the Manning ball slurping. It is off the damn charts.

Meet the guy who will do the same thing as the guy currently doing the wrong things

I seem to recall reading that Callahan's offense was better at was red zone efficiency. It was worse in 3rd down efficiency. Garrett's offenses have been awful in the red zone except for the year Sparano held his damn hand.

Meet the guy who will do the same thing as the guy currently doing the wrong things

Early in the year, yeah, it was Callahan. It was very clear. Late in the year, Garrett clearly had the play sheet and was doing something. Some people claim he was "just relaying the play in" since they kicked Wilson up to the booth.

NY Post: Coaching shakeup latest example of Cowboys dysfunction

Why is that encouraging? If Garrett is fired midseason, things are really lost especially if Jerry gives up on his pet. Who the interim is, I really do not care. He could bring on Bozo The Clown and it would not matter at that stage.

Meet the guy who will do the same thing as the guy currently doing the wrong things

It don't doubt it is completely true. I am sure at their season wrap-up meeting, he whined that Callahan calling plays hindered him and was responsible for the inability to close out games. Funny thing is, if you didn't know it was Callahan calling the games, you would think Garrett was, which...

Meet the guy who will do the same thing as the guy currently doing the wrong things

He was the OC on Saban's staff in Miami where Garrett got his first QB coach job.

Trust me. Garrett is incredibly well thought of around the league.

What a stupid poll, players do not even know what is good for them anyways. [/apologist] It is pretty damn pathetic that Fat Wade got more votes than Garrett though.

It was more like knew what they were doing on the first drive. I have no idea what the hell happened in practically every second half, but it looks like he lost his damn mind.

Werder/Mortensen - Linehan could join Cowboys staff

But some see it as a Garrett "power play". If so, he'd be the craftiest lame duck head coach in the history of ever.

Werder/Mortensen - Linehan could join Cowboys staff

I do not see it that way. I see it as Jones conceding whatever he can to try to save his pet Jason. He wants his little trainee to succeed so much.
