    I bitched about it initially. I think they should have taken the points and tied it up. There was still plenty of time left in the game. But, upon further thought, I find that I do not have as much of a problem with them going for it on 4th and 3, but moreso the (lack thereof) personnel...

    I don't know. I don't think that penalty is reviewable/subject to challenge. But they did a slo-mo of it, and the announcers agreed that McVeigh didn't call TO in time and the penalty should have stood.

    On the Rams' first possession of the game, where they got the delay of game penalty, then the refs overturned it because McVeigh called a time out. That penalty should have stood, McVeigh didn't call the time out in time. The clock had reached zero.

    I thought it was a mistake at that time to not simply go for the 3-points. It would have tied the game, and we had plenty of time. Didn't make as lick of sense to go for it. Then to compound it with even less sense by calling a pass play a yard short of the 1st down. Why?
