    I'd give Cassel the remainder of the starts. You know what you're getting with Weeden and it's not gonna be enough. Cassel has a decent resume in the league. Weeden has shown no past or current promise. The guy was an utter joke in Cleveland and he at least stayed consistent with that in Dallas.

    There wasn't a conclusive angle televised. The camera was all zoomed up on him and then panned out at a wrong moment. Looked like his shin was dragging prior to the ball crossing though.

    Sounds like Weeden is on his way for sure. Since Wade clearly has mechanics handled, Jerry should bring in Jemarcus Russell to help with conditioning tips and David Carr for expertise on avoiding a pass rush.

    Taylor has way more of a ceiling. I don't think that's a huge knock on Cassel. Overall, Cassel has played for mostly shitty teams since leaving New England. He's shown promise at times, which is more than anyone here can say for Weeden.

    Cassel at least came into a similar situation in New England and held shit together. Weeden is gonna be a deer in the headlights for 8 weeks. I like this move.

    Shaw's overrated to me. Either way, it's an oline issue. Maybe I'm just used to Garrett, but there coach seems super competent.

    McFadden has been about as ineffective as he was expected to be. The guy is washed up. I'd drop him and give Michel the spot. Then move Randall back to his same role from last year. 8 weeks of Weeden can't work without a respectable running game.

    Ponder is awful. Flynn might actually be better than Weeden. Meaning they both suck, but one doesn't suck as much.

    @AdamSchefter 27m27 minutes ago MRI confirmed Drew Brees did not suffer serious shoulder injury Sunday, per @edwerderespn. Ability to play depends on response to treatment. It's all gonna depend on how he feels. What's for certain is that he's finished as a top 10 QB in this league.
