Wait. What? A DB that plays the ball in the air? Unheard of.

    2020 NFL Draft Weekend Thread

They needed a corner and got a tall one who if he doesn't start right away will still play a lot. It was a definite need so no complaints. I actually really like the Gallimore pick particularly in the 3rd. Apparently they had 2nd round grades on both. Gallimore will be McCoys backup and...

    2020 NFL Draft Weekend Thread

So tonight should be very interesting. Lots of defensive talent left on the board. BUT and I am not saying I endorse this, they are rumored to love UCLA TE Asiasi and just a gut feeling they also have a thing for Jalen Hurts. If either or both those things happened we would all lose our minds.

Another thing. The 6 to 8 games a year Cooper disappears, I don't think Lamb will. Which means 6 to 8 games a year the offense doesn't come to a grinding halt. Guy seems like he likes to compete which is a definite virtue.

Bottom line is they really had to come away with a building block from this draft after the last 3 years. Looks like they did.

    2020 NFL Draft Weekend Thread

Let's be honest. This looks like an entertaining, probably high scoring 8 and 8 team next year. While Stevie Wonder could tell you the team desperately needs defense, I can't really bitch about the pick. Chaisson wasn't particularly productive in comparison to his measurables. Corners and...

The Werder rumor of a QB in the 2nd or 3rd is interesting though.

Consensus as Chaisson or McKinney if they stay at 17? Possibly Kinlaw.

It’s time to move on from Dez

Ugh. Supposedly they are considering bringing him back if you believe Fisher. If so this franchise is hopeless.

    2020 Offseason Cowboy personnel news

Agree turd is a little harsh. Grossly over paid works pretty well. This seems more strategic jersey selling than strsgic football in a loaded draft.

Former Pro Bowl CB shades Cowboys DC Mike Nolan

I was glad to be rid of Marinelli and sidekick but the Nolan hire didn't thrill me. The signing of a bunch of aging vets on defense is a wait and see thing for me. Hope it works out but I am not counting on it.

Report: Cowboys looking to make 'big splash' in draft, could trade up

They interviewed Jalen Hurts. If they could get him 4th or after I would be interested.

McKinney the safety or Diggs the CB from Alabama. Some of the numbskulls at the zone keep talking WR if one of the big 3 fall. I really hope not after over paying Cooper. Longshot Thomas the OT from Georgia falls though I doubt. I would take him in a second and feel good about it.

    Travis Fredrick retires

I have seen every center back to Manders and other than the short time Ray Donaldson was here, Fred was clearly the best. He wasn't the same player last year that he was prior to 2018 but this is going to be a major loss. Not a great draft to have a major need at center either.

Unable to post Bob Sturm tweet now but claims he watched 300 snaps last year for Gerald McCoy. Said at 6 million per year was tremendous signing value wise. FWIW
