    *** 2014 NFL Draft thread ***

That whole thing made me laugh a lot today. Some of the photoshops were great and the horrible puns were better.

They'll probably draft that Iowa TE in 4 since they need a 2nd blocking TE now.

Watkins- Beyond the 1st rd: ILB's

Coming out of this draft with Tripp and Coyle would be a win for sure.

    Anthony Spencer re-signed

Crawford, Mincey, Selvie, Spencer......that meeting room is looking pretty full. Time to draft a third TE or a punter.

    Seattle "dynasty" officially over

This is kind of off topic, but I was thinking about it the other day when I was listing all the Pro Bowls and All Pros from guys that were drafted/developed under Parcells. Would all those guys have been that good without Parcells coaching them?

Pick 47: Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State

You can get that kind of production off the street + blocking ability if you make that your base package

Pick 47: Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State

I hope so. Would love to be wrong. Doubt he does much until Witten is gone/ineffective Linehan has tried and failed with this two TE gimmick before as well

Gil Brandt on Lesser Known Pro Day Risers

Last week, I gave the names of 15 lesser-known players who helped their chances in the draft by putting in impressive workouts at their pro day. That list included potential second-day picks like Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd, Montana linebacker Brock Coyle and SMU quarterback Garrett Gilbert...

Pick 47: Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State

Horrid pick. The 2 TE offense never really takes off. You can just find a mid to late round guy that is a decent blocker with decent hands and do just as well as throwing high picks at it. Just keep Scott Chandler when you had him.

Cowboys met with Colorado WR Paul Richardson

A creative OC could find ways to get him the ball in space.

Cowboys met with Colorado WR Paul Richardson

I hate you How many god damn TEs can you put on the field? Already wasted a second on one last year. Find a blocker on the street CB? Late rounds fine. Otherwise fix the lines first

Cowboys met with Colorado WR Paul Richardson

I'd have no issue going WR in this draft. Especially one with speed or depth outside CB or TE? Annoying BTW, I don't think Garrett has a clue how to use Harris. He's underutilized on offense. Maybe Linehan can correct that, but I doubt it

I wouldn't say I'm infatuated. He's an interesting mid round DT. He looked good in the senior bowl
