Dallas Cowboys cornerback B.W. Webb is a superstar in the making

Not much in the "article" about evidence of the athleticism or why Webb would be a superstar...other than Talbot likes his personality. Weird write up

Cowboys fill roster spot with Jerome Long

Since Jerome has no other real use for the Cowboys, let's see how his name works in general conversation. Rancher #1: "I just found a home where the deer and the antelope play. I had to mosey quite a bit before I found it." Rancher #2: "Jerome Long?" Rancher #1: "Nah just a day or two."

2013 Cowboys draft picks - anyone you want to see?

Nate Newton was saying today on Fitz and Durrant that Randle is the one to watch. He started to extol Randle but then pulled back and reduced the hype into "since Murray gets injured=Randle big contribution". He also said Tanner is finally an effective runner, who doesn't just run with his eyes...

New Cowboys safety wants to be a hit in Dallas

I wanted to have a defense with a pissed off attitude for just a whole season. Or at least the home games.

Cowboys fill roster spot with Jerome Long

They'll cut Long when they realize the mistaken identity. They've got the Big Mac. We've got the Big Mick.

If the Parcell 10 Commandments had been followed....

Makes no sense. Did you look at Seattle last year as an Algerian font size 48 W for that week? Easiest schedules in hindsight?

This tweet got me thinking: Is Murray another Julius Jones?

Ha. Murray had a better block on 94 than Free did.

This tweet got me thinking: Is Murray another Julius Jones?

Not sure he is more talented than Julius, but he is tenacious...and other than health, would rather have a tenacious runner who can gore a defense at even the most limited speed or quickness. Pun intended.

For Cowboys, 1 (on 1) step at a time

It's not very objective. Who wrote that?

Blast from the past... Old but good Parcells hiring article

The very offensive system that is kicking names and taking butts as the perennial also-ran in the NFC East. From the people who brought you "if it ain't broke don't fix it" we get "if its already dead, it can't be killed".

If the Parcell 10 Commandments had been followed....

It would make more sense to move from Parcells if there were someone in place who was more authoritative about talent, conditioning, management, motivation, and game strategy. So while we're waitin we'll just harken back a little to the Pax Parcella.

If the Parcell 10 Commandments had been followed....

Ah...we might be entering a year at safety that makes the "Sensa-Ball" tandem look formidable. The Dallas talent scouts have mapped out the DB bus journey through the unfortunate intersection of HasNotYetBeen Street and NeverWere Avenue. We'll see what happens but at least Sensabaugh played in...

Archer: Cowboys, Terrance Williams agree to deal

Not as a football player anyway.

If the Parcell 10 Commandments had been followed....

My biggest issue is 9. It's almost like Parcells could see that Romo was about to enter an offense that would leave Romo with a huge dung pile of useless yardage and completions. 8 is not very well followed either. Play fakes? Clock management.

If the Parcell 10 Commandments had been followed....

Regarding Romo, its so interesting to me how Parcells, before he left the team, outlined a set of parameters that Romo needed to be diligent about in order to have success. He knew Romo's tendencies and weaknesses well - he also knew how quickly Romo reverts back to the tendencies if he does...

    Watkins: Cowboys Random Thoughts

The laws of superstition and Cowboy history say that now that Dez is in such great shape and ready for the season, an ACL tear has just been stamped on the calendar for early this season. Styx said it best: "Come Galloway, come Galloway, come Galloway with me."

    Sources: Cowboys shuffle scouting staff

Doesn't seem to matter what the titles are. The scouting staff are all Ned Beatty and Lacewell gets to unhook his overalls anytime he wants to interject some of his opinions. How else are these very very unusual decisions explained? I just think back to the contrast when Parcells was in power...
