    Cowboys Trade Sean Lissemore

Cohen has some stuff. Other than his jumping offsides, there might be some James Harrison on the DL there. Dumb but late blooming and eventually effective.

    Anthony Armstrong or Cole Beasley?

Speed loses. Small wins. Armstrong cut. In a related story, Jimmy Johnson just put a claim on Armstrong off the waiver wire to help him on his boat, because he just likes speed.

This is exciting. Hercules. Hercules. 20 is a lot of receptions, especially when last year was almost the tilt overload of passes attempted and this year most likely will have considerably less passing attempts than 648 and completions of 425. So before Pablo gets fed his share, Dez, Miles...

    Bears OT Webb released

Jordan Mills is a clothing store I think. I wonder how many OTs can really survive that terrible system that the Bears, Cam Cameron Ravens, Chargers, and pre-Romo/Callahan Cowboys were running. Unless there is a forced running game, the system requires a pass under defensive conditions...

Randal Williams would be Escobar. Great potential. Limited game output.

    Anthony Armstrong or Cole Beasley?

Because I have eyes... It seems like there is more of a hope of what Beasley could be with crafty Amendola or Wes Welker-ish traits. But he really hasn't shown anything other than 15 recs on 24 targets. But my issue is he is not fast, or shifty in traffic once he has the ball, he is not a...

Jerry: Doug Free at guard could be fixture

Got lambasted at the Zone and at KFFL for suggesting Free at guard a few months ago. One poster at the Zone defended that Free is not a potential role player for the O-line or athlete at all with this statement: "because we have eyes".

    Cowboys pleased with Gavin Escobar

But he's not exactly as advertised. He has the speed of Barry Church and the stride of Stephen Hawking. He might be at his ceiling right now.

You're the head coach... what would you do?

The third down and short pass was terrible, two years ago, where Romo would drop back and wait, while the first down was just a few steps in front of him. I can't tell if he was restricted from running the ball then or he just kind of forgot that he was an option to run.

    Day After Thoughts

Agree. TE. I think Romo sees the routes that are not working and has signals and variations that are essentially making a new attack. The best thing in that interview is when Dez kind of marveled "Tony is really smart", but my guess is that Tony is finally applying all of his Witten-adjustments...

    Garrett's press conferences improving

Depressive realism. He has found out how mortal his coaching career with the Cowboys is, and even more eye-opening to him (IMO) has been that his "genius", "his system", his "playcalling" and his coaching in general are not good enough. He has a high opinion of himself and the results and...
