    If it was his bottom lip it would be greatly affected by the chin strap. especially if the cut was north/south across his lip. I'm not making excuses for him, just stating how I could see him not coming back.

    One thing is he never gets his arms extended anymore. He relies on trying to block them with his body which is against all technique learned in blocking 101. He needs more mobility with his feet. He is slow off the ball (which is why he false starts so much). And he has apparently gotten weak.
