    Coaches we should bring in

As far as the Garrett staying situation, I think Norv as OC is best case scenario.

What are you talking about? I saw a team, fighting hard for their head coach. Band of brothers.

Jerry: "Would you get embarrassed if you were standing in this stadium? Seriously.”

This is Jerry at his most honest moment. Most of us already knew this. Some are learning now.

Good to see he has priorities in order. Cash cow stadium > winning

His dad was pretty wealthy as well.

    Coaches we should bring in

I'm not a fan of Norv Turner as a HC. I do think he's a solid playcaller. Garrett doesn't even know when to call timeouts and he was a NFL QB and has been a HC for 3 1/2 years. Jones is infatuated with the idea that Garrett is Landry and I don't know why. What it comes down to is I think Norv...

    Coaches we should bring in

Norv, like any good football coach, has evolved. Garrett is still using the Norv Turner offense of the mid 90's. Also, the problem with Garrett is the game appears too big for him. He needs an experienced assistant with a stronger personality that Callahan.

    Coaches we should bring in

No salary cap in coaching. If Jones wants to talk about he'll do whatever it takes us for us to win, this is where his incredible wealth and the Cowboys revenue comes into play.

    Coaches we should bring in

..under the horrible premise that Garrett is staying. I think they should can Bill Callahan and Wade Wilson. New OL coach Pat Hill (former Fresno State HC, Falcons just let him go) or Bruce Matthews. Bring in Norv Turner to run the offense. Bring in Jeff Tedford as QB Coach. If that moron...

Hatcher: "I Really Don't Care If I Go Or Stay"

Jerry and Stephen will do what they do to get us under the cap but the truth is we will be severely limited to add new talent. Last year, we literally asked dudes to agree to a handshake deal while we waited to free up a little more cap room. Justin Durant said yes, Michael Huff said no thanks.

Hatcher: "I Really Don't Care If I Go Or Stay"

I think the writing was on the wall...$31 M over the cap, aging player wanting big $$. He deserves his big contract but we can sign two younger free agents to replace him. We need depth more than we need Hatcher.

Who to keep from the scraps and ashes?

We are $31 M over next year's cap and his cap number is $4,377,500. We save just over $3 M but cutting him.

Cowboys' 2013 closes in that familiar way

Some of us are almost there. I think the fan base it at a point where the falloff will be significant if this Garrett-led team continues to blow leads and lose winnable games early next season. The schedule won't be easy next year: Cardinals, 49ers, Seahawks, Colts, Bears, Saints.
