    Students are out trying to better their life thats why they get money. The government giving money to people that work for it, contractor and employees, is very different then giving money to people because they can't afford to provide for them or their families.

    I think if laws were passed they would marginally help gun violence but mostly it's just going to end up costing the average gun owner more in taxes. I'm ok with this though. Just like cigerettes, I have no interest in guns and the more they tax you, the less they are going to tax me.LOL

    Just because violent crime is down doesn't mean that it isn't a problem. About Australia, most likely criminals felt they had a better chance at these crimes now that they banned certain guns. Sexual assault rose, maybe if these women were carrying assault weapons this wouldn't have happened?

    Maybe if 88% of Americans didn't feel the need to own a handgun that number would be a lot lower. Canadians can own handguns yet the % is a lot lower.
