Watkins: Cowboys need to make decision about Doug Free

The team has time before they need to decide. Better to go into the draft without playing your hand on tackle.

    felix works out for cincy

If the ex-cowboys couldn't tip the balance for the first team what can you expect on the second pass? There's a reason why a RB hungry team like the Cowboys made Felix available.

Jones on Felix Jones and Mike Jenkins: “those guys aren’t NFL busts”

Both situations have cost us. If it was a lower round it would be okay, but we need to have a higher batting avg with the first rounders.

    jenkins off to oakland

There are probably many other teams who have done just as poorly as the Cowboys have, but I could care less about them. What is a problem is the Cowboys recent drafts during Wade's tenure.

Per Shefter- Boys trying to sign Eric Winston

Luck as a business strategy is not what I would deem healthy. Hopefully future generations of Jones learn differently.

    jenkins off to oakland

Good luck to him. Too bad it didn't work out for us. Could have saved us one cornerback position to filled.

I guess I have a lot to learn if I am to post here.

Watkins: DeMarcus Ware says Cowboys will improve on 8-8

I want to believe this year, but it's been too long for me. I'm now a wait and see fan. I will rejoice when they win, but only after I see the final number on the scoreboard. I won't even bother guessing their record this year.

Watkins: Mel Kiper sees Kenny Vaccaro slipping to Cowboys

Safety to me is not a really valuable pick. If O-line is there take it. It's the difference in philosophy on whether you want to be the hammer or the nail. Take a quality o-lineman and start hammerin. We've wasted too many years on believing we are one player away from the promised land...

DeMarcus Ware says it’s put up or shut up time for Tony Romo

I would apply the saying to Jerry also.

I've never heard mental deficiency and exclusivity used in a way to imply something desirable. This is a first for me.

Watkins: DeMarcus Ware says Cowboys will improve on 8-8

You are really gambling with apple not falling far from the tree here. I'm still hoping for an outside GM and a Jones just sitting in the owner's box watching the game.

Watkins: DeMarcus Ware says Cowboys will improve on 8-8

What makes the grandson qualified to own a football team?

Watkins: DeMarcus Ware says Cowboys will improve on 8-8

Nah, way too huge of an ego. It will be health issues that trigger the move. At this point in his life he has set it up so he is the Dallas Cowboys. He has worked to make the impression that if you say the words Dallas Cowboys his name and face is not far off in your mind.

I did it all while smacking my lips with lipchap, getting my facelift, finishing my new Papajohns/Pepsi commercials and dialing up offensive plays for next year. I'm tired now and I think I will make my 2013 draft pick on the dart board throwing with my non-writing hand.

Watkins: DeMarcus Ware says Cowboys will improve on 8-8

I expect if Jerry doesn't win a SB in the next decade we will possibly see a pathetic broken down man pass the team to his son. There very little room for him to maneuver. He's got his new stadium, his franchise QB and a respected coaching staff. I think Ware should use his quote on Jerry.

Let's just say I am happy to join this forum to share. Can't promise you I will be a quality poster. I'll let you be the judge of that.

Would you trade up for Warmack or Cooper?

The team needs just as much quantity as quality on the o-line. Right now I would prefer to keep all of my draft picks.
