    His 2015 base salary jumps up to $9M. but there is no additional bonus which makes me think the contract was designed to restructure. My guess is they will give him $6M of the $9M as a signing(restructuring) bonus which will bring his 2015 cap number to $5M.

    6 game stretch will be tough. I can see it doing us in and Garrett getting the axe. I could also see us hanging on, earning a playoff spot, and getting destroyed in the playoffs. Jerry will point to the great start and bring back Jason. That is the nightmare scenario.

    No. My guess, Jerry wanting to sell. Sounds familiar. The fact that anyone even thinks this is necessary should be more than enough proof that Garrett should not be the coach. Name one respected NFL coach who would be okay with getting in-game instructions or orders from the GM.
