2023 NFL Week 12: Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys

Why didn't the Redskins go with a name like Apache, Comanche, Tribe, or something along those lines and then just return to their arrowhead symbol? The name Commanders is stupid! Honestly, I think I like The Football Team better.

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Until proven otherwise, the NIners and Eagles are both better than the Cowboys. I'll say that even if the Cowboys win the next game because it's the NFL and any team can win on any Sunday. As the cardinals did against us. If I were an Eagles fan, I'd be thinking that they made many mistakes...

I still say that if anything it was pass interference.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

I'm not interested in stats other than how many rings a team has. My biggest problem with Dak is his contract. It doesn't matter to me that he has now dropped in the rankings in terms of how much he is paid. Those first couple of years were years that his cap number hampered the team from...

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Well, who were they targeting when they weren't targeting Lamb more? It wasn't Cooks! So maybe, just maybe, the offense will be playing even better with better ball distribution. I do think Dak is capable of doing that. He did it with Kellen Moore. The run game also needs to be better, which...

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

IMHO, that was a catch and TD with interference on the DB if you want to make a ticky tack call. It was BS that the booth overruled a called TD on the field.

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

It's not about Lamb. It's about winning the SB! If Cooks catches 5 balls for 50 yards and Lamb catches 5 balls for 50 yards, that's not the same as Lamb catching 10 balls for 100 yards. Statistically it's the same, but it doesn't compromise defenses long term the same way. It's not a "pick...

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Okay, but why are we arguing about the idea that Biadiasz also had a bad game? Are you saying he didn't? 2/5ths of the OL struggled and that's not good.

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

This is great, now someone do Brandin Cooks and see if he was open. If CeeDee is the type of WR who is a primadonna and wants the ball every time then that becomes a problem for the offense as a whole. Cooper Kupp doesn't mind if someone else gets the ball. Unless Cooks is the second coming...

I agree with benching, but who replaces him? Maybe Asim? I'd move Tyler out there, but again, I'm also not high on the play of our center, so we need to keep the Guards top notch. rookie playing RT? I suppose it can't be any worse, or can it?

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Yes, but how do they measure credited, by the guy who got the sack? As Stanback pointed out, why do you think, for example, Dak was running to the outside in the first place? Because he got pressured up the middle. So then Dak might have run right into the arms of the guy Steele was blocking...

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The play might have been designed to get Irvin the ball, but what I'm saying is that if Troy saw Harper wide open he'd throw him the ball. Case in point, the famous play in the Niners game that went to Harper. Irvin famously switched with Harper because the play was designed to go to Harper...

The NFL can't take a chance at having violence in a stadium. Passion runs high on that issue. I personally agree with this guy.

Steele might not have played well, but I agree with Stanback. Biadasz was a real problem too.

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

I'm listening to Talking Cowboys. Right after they get done praising Dak, they ask "why isn't Cooks getting the ball, he's getting 2 1/2 yards of separation". Stanback says, "He's the clearout guy," so it's coaching. I say, okay, BUT, some of that is on Dak because if you see a guy open but 2...

Could the NFC East have 3 new HCs next year? Jerry probably won't dump McCarthy unless the wheels come off. I repeat, changing the offensive system in a year where you are hoping to be a SB contender is not an optimal move. You do that when you know you're going to suck.

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Doesn't Philly play a "bend don't break" style? Usually, a team that plays that way will give up yards, but not TDs. They seemed to get pressure on Dak when it mattered.

So, unless injuries happen, I'm thinking 9-8 or 8-9.
