Week 1: New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys

Giants fan here. Gonna be a very tough game for us to pull out but I'm hoping our coaching staff studied what the Rams O ran on your D in the playoffs last yr & can replicate some of it. I feel that a "12" personel O will be more effective vs the Dallas D, Do some jet sweeps/misdirection & play...

    THE Amari Cooper thread

Chucky is a smart guy getting rid of tons of cap $$ & stock piling 5 #1s in the next 2 yrs. The league may be laughing at him/Oak now, but by 2020, they won't be. Dallas gave up waaaaaaaaaaaay too much for a WR that cannot take the top off a defense & has a bad case of the dropsies.

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

Tough loss guys. Coach Clapper seems to play timid. He shoulda been more aggressive on that final drive & gone for the win instead of trying to settle for a tie & OT. Also , don't be fooled by Daks final stats, 49 of those 273yds came on 1 play, plus in a game where Zeke was taken away, he...

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

Sorry, I was still getting over the butt whipping Philly laid on us despite SB's monster game. Congrats on your demolition of the Jags. Make me even madder we couldn't beat that overrated team in the opener. They lost 20-7 to Texans today & Bortles got benched. That's what that bitch Ramsey...

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

Very true, here's to him locking up Dak for the next 5-6yrs. And with that I'm gonna hit the rack Doomsday. Pleasure talking football with ya. I'll be back manana to discuss your game vs Jags. Take care.

    Dammit! Worth a try.

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

I meant I give you Eli while you keep Dak & swap em out based on how each plays on a week to week basis. Teams used to do this back in the day. Tom Landry used to switch out Roger with Morton on a play by play basis before Roger won the starting role. Crazy huh.

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

I'll give You Eli to swap out with Dak in Dallas on a game to game basis. Maybe Eli could tutor Dak. We need to see what Lauletta has & find out if he could be our next QB, if not, draft a good one next yr. I keep hearing about this QB named Herbert being a possible pick for us.

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

Gonna have to shoot that offer down bud. Dak is nothing more than a game manager. Took the league by storm his rook yr cuz their was no film on him. Once DCs had a yr's worth of NFL film on him in 17', he got figured out pretty quick. You guys might be looking to draft a QB alongside us next yr...

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

Naw, Eli's time has come. Only a handful of QBs have played as long as Eli has for just 1 team these past 15yrs. We were fortunate to have him as our QB in NY since 2004.

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

Eli is shot. I think the past 5 yrs of getting pummeled & having Flowers "watching" his blind side since 2014 totally messed up his internal clock. He probably hears steps that aren't there. That we have both a top tier RB Barkley & a top 3 WR in OBJ & are only putting up 19ppg is unsat. OBJ...

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

True about the RPO, but it's still a weapon that the Giants with Eli at QB, can't utilize with SB. I'm surprised we have a good pass pro OL, it sure didn't look like that vs Philly's DL. Eli has been castrated the past 4yrs. He used to be a gunslinger under Keven Gilbride's more aggressive type...

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

I would say that some players in the locker room might be & it's causing a rift in the team between players that are still loyal to Eli & those that aren't. Our OL is "serviceable" for a mobile athletic QB, which Eli has never been even when young. Defenses don't have to worry bout us running...

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

He's only played 1 game vs Dallas & that was his 2nd pro game. Compared to our OL, yours is superior despite the things you mentioned. Our #2 pick, Hernandez is the only one on our OL that has played well so far, even Solder, our over priced new LT has been playing like crap lately. Eagles DL...

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

    That he's #2 rusher behind Zeke who has the way superior OL is very impressive. Zeke-480yds on 93att 5.2ypc 2 TDs rush. 3 runs of 20+ 96ypg 2 fum 24 1st dns SB -438yds on 84att 5.2ypc 4 TDs rush. 7 runs of 20+ 73ypg 0 fum 19 1st dns

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

Still got 108 all purpose yds vs Dallas. He's had over 100+purpose yds in all 6 games to go with 6TDs. 1 more 100yd game vs Atl & he will tie the NFL rookie record of 7 straight 100+yd games in 1st 7 starts. On pace to rush for 1138yds - 5.2 ypc, have 99 rec for 985yds & 16 combined rush/rec...

NFL Week 6 WYG Jacksonville Chatter

Yeah, Jackrabbit slipped & that allowed Austin to get by him. Like 60% of Daks's passing yds for the night came on that 1 play. As far as whom the Giants might draft next yr, I wouldn't bet the farm it'll be a QB. We drafted Kyle Lauletta in the 4th rd out of Richmond & he had a nice couple of...

NYG - The team is turning on Eli

I have been one of the biggest Eli defenders the past 5 yrs because I always felt that it was more the OLs fault that he was unable to win games for us & only had 1 playoff app in the past 6yrs & that was due more to our D being #2 in 2016. We finally got rid of one of the worst players to ever...

NFL Week 6 WYG Jacksonville Chatter

My Giants were a Eli pick 6 away from beating them in the opener. Lost 20-15. I think your D will actually keep you in the game. The problem is you don't have the WRs/TE weapons to keep their D honest. I would tell you to just run Zeke 30x but with a stacked box full of Jags, daring Dak to...
