Sounds like Schoonbuster is out for tomorrow, they are calling up PS TE James Mitchell. Former 5th rd pick. Had a good college career before suffering an injury his Senior yr at Va Tech. 6'4, 250lbs.

Safety PJ Locke also activated, which hopefully means the end of Marquese Bell getting defensive snaps.

Feel like Amigo Dodger owes me some apologies.

David, David, David.....I never said QW wasn't a good player. I said he wasn't worth the price we paid and also added his age and expiring contract into that mix. I'm still right. He's not a difference maker in this D. And for a guy who has supposedly been this disruptive, we still can't stop the run (which is why we traded for him in the first place) and we can't pressure the QB. Quite frankly, our D doesn't disrupt jack shit so I have no idea what PFN is talking about.

We are currently ranked 29th in total D and dead last in run D. If QW was out of the lineup, what would change? At most we'd drop from 29th to dead last in D but wouldn't have any impact on the win - loss column.

And I'll point out again....dead last in run D. The fucking reason we gave up serious draft capital for QW and our D is worse than last year.

This doesn't sound like an apology. I will continue to hold, eventually I may want to speak to a manager.

Unfortunately the D is worse, but it's not because the player they traded for isnt great.

It's because the guy coaching the defense now is not very competent. It's too bad because the vast majority of people were excited about this guy, but he's a flop.

We gave up a still TBD 1st (currently 12th) and a 2nd (44th overall), Bears just gave up two 1sts and a 4th for Simmons. Bengals gave up a top-10 pick for Lawrence. I don't think we gave up too much. The guy is a great player, it's just unfortunate his overall value to us is offset by a bad coach and scheme.

This has to be one of the more shocking twists ever. No way in hell did anyone expect Parker to take over and make the defense WORSE, especially with the vast turnover in personnel. And it doesnt appear to be one of those "you have to take a step back before you get better" things either. 7 games into the season, and we've seen zero improvement on a week to week basis. It wasn't like it started bad while they adjust and learn it, they started horrible and have stayed horrible.

On the one hand, the FO did something they have avoided doing for years (and were criticized for extensively) which was avoiding supposedly bright, young up and coming candidates for HC and coordinator roles. Then when they finally do it, we find what appears to be the worst of the worst even though the guy was thought to be a near sure thing.

Hindsight is 20/20 obviously, but the guy some in the building wanted (Jonathan Gannon) would have been an enormous upgrade over what we got. So would Falcons D Coordinator Jeff Ulbrich (who was supposedly who Schottenheimer really wanted from the beginning, but the Falcons blocked the move)

No real feelings one way or another about today's game. The Cardinals arnt very good (lost 5 of last 6) but did play SF really tough and beat the Rams on the road. Unfortunately we are not good either and always find a way to lose to this team no matter where we play them, and we've never beaten them in AT&T shithole stadium.

It would be so Cowboys to lose in embarrassing fashion today (much like v Tampa a few weeks ago or these same Cards at home last yr) so if I am forced to pick, I think Cards win 34-30. Defense gives up 450+ total yards.

Revel has definitely been disappointing. Lot of good vibes during camp and preseason about him. Turned back into a pumpkin afterward.
