Well this makes more sense than the way it's been done for the past 20-30 yrs, where the incentive was for the single baby mama to have as many babies as possible to get more tax breaks and free shit

We just need to stop giving out free stuff to everyone. Spending is out of control. The debt just topped $40 trillion and it is still on a steady incline. A the pace the debt is growing we are on a path to his a debt crisis in about 4 years. The amount we are increasing spending is unsustainable and the problem now is the increase in spending is mostly the increase in interest payments on our debt. This is why Trump is fighting the fed of interest rates.

The problem comes when creditors wake up to the amount of debt we already have and start demanding higher interest rates on our bonds. Then the interest payments increase even more and it becomes a vicious cycle, a cycle we are already in.

I am kind of hoping we wake up and just stop borrowing money so we can increase our spending. That will cause some issues for some people but it is better to voluntarily stop spending than to have it forced on us by a debt crisis.

Someone though should please tell the President that economically this ain't the greatest idea - we're still suffering inflation from the covid bonuses that went out. Flood the market with a trillion in bonuses, watch inflation soar.
