So to answer my question above, yes the Kimmel comments were real.

FLOTUS responds, and is rightfully pissed. This was a total disgrace on Kimmel's behalf.

He'll be up against a new concept SeeBS is gonna try after Colbert's done. It's called "late night comedy" they're gonna be rotating hosts in a nightly stand-up comedy show. If it works you can bet ABC will copy it.
